Am exploring the possibility of an article examining the crime of passion defense (mainly used by males) versus the (primarily female) defense of battered spouse syndrome. In light of data may consider the upsurge in U.S. of honor killings which, while not as recognized as crime of passion, have an unsettling similarity in their reasoning and possibly in their outcomes on behalf of the murderer.
