Bethel House, Inc. Blesses those in need in Southern Maryland and in the Washington Metropolitan Area Bethel House, Inc. a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization was established in 1993, by Rev. Dr. Harry L. Seawright in Brandywine, Maryland. For over two decades, Bethel House has been feeding the hungry, pastoral counseling to victims of domestic violence and sexual abuse, job skills training, rehabilitative services to those suffering from alcohol and/or drug addiction, individuals suffering from depression, disease, cancer, diabetes, and sexually transmitted diseases. Bethel House's services meet the community's needs. Howard University School of Divinity Alumni Association honors the Rev. Dr. Harry L. Seawright The Howard University School of Divinity Alumni Association recently honored the Rev. Dr. Harry L. Seawright, Senior Pastor of Union Bethel AME Church in Brandywine and Temple Hills, Maryland. He was among three alumni honored at a banquet held in the Blackburn Center on the university s main campus. The activist Maryland minister was saluted for Distinguished Service in Pastoral Ministry. Union Bethel North is the satellite church in Temple Hills, Maryland. It holds Sunday worship services, weekly Bible Study, a daycare center, summer camp and Hispanic Services.
