This session will help you understand the differences between the many types of therapy. provided for patients of all ages. Students will explore ED trauma room and see some tools and knowledge used in emergency and/or trauma situations. Will discuss the various roles from pre-hospital (EMS opportunities) to roles with in the ED from ED techs to RN. Social Work Lindsey Christian A guided tour through the world of social work. Meade St., Appleton Ironwood Conference Room Careers in Laboratory Science Laboratory staff educator and staff Experience what instruments and tests are done at a hospital lab. The session will include a brief tour of the hospital lab and hands-on demonstration of lab testing. Registered Nurse/Skills RN, Staff Development Educator, Learning Center Faculty A hands on experience where students will get to use tools and equipment used by nursing staff and discuss the role of the nursing staff in providing excellent patient care. Healthcare Sensitivity RN, Staff Development Educator, Learning Center Faculty Students will get to experience what it feels like to be dealing with various medical concerns; the session will help you become more aware of your own prejudices and be more sensitive to other dealing with medical concerns.

Meade St., Appleton Ironwood Conference Room Emergency Department Careers Emergency Department RN, Educator, Paramedic Students will experience what care is provided in the Emergency Department for three patient scenarios including a cardiac event, a stroke, and a trauma resulting from a motor vehicle crash. Hands on activities are included as well as discussion of CPR, signs and symptoms and respective interventions, and how to perform a head to toe assessment on a trauma patient. 5/19 Organization: Marian University Date: Thursday, May 19th Time 8:30 11:30am 45 S. National Avenue Agnes Center Number of Students: Exercise and Sports Medicine Mary Jo Neumann Explore the exciting career potential with the Exercise and Sport Science degree. Programming includes courses with an emphasis on today s exercise-related professions including coaching, personal training and other sport training programs or for individuals with an interest in the Wellness field. Today s societal changes have affected individual health choices and disease patterns, and as a result the field of health promotion has emerged as a distinct discipline to work in synergy with the fields of public health and health education. A degree in Exercise and Sports Science will provide the essential education as the need for talented health promotion continues to sky rocket in the future. Nursing Ann Rosploch Explore and use our simulation laboratory and get to know more about the nursing field.

Radiologic Technology Brian Joachim An informational session that provides insight into the various modalities of the radiologic sciences. Radiographic images from interesting case studies will be reviewed as well. 5/19 Organization: Fox Valley Technical College (FVTC) Date: May 19 th, 2016 9:00 - Noon 1825 Bluemound Drive, Appleton A170A Number of student: 45 Nursing/ Simulation RN Lab Instructor This is a walking tour of the Nursing Lab with demonstrations using student training Simulators and equipment. Occupational Therapy Assistant OTA Instructor Interactive session focusing on mental health, physical rehabilitation, and assistive technology used across the life span. Dental Dental Instructor Interactive session and walking tour of the Dental Labs with demonstrations and discussion using up to date industry technology used by current students in the program. 5/23 Organization: Agnesian HealthCare Date: Monday, May 23 rd 9:00 am 12 Noon Agnesian HealthCare 430 E. Pharmacy Telene Bettcher & Staff An exploration in the inpatient and outpatient pharmacies; includes a presentation by our Pharmacist and or pharmacy technicians.
