Welcome Online learning anytime, anywhere just a click away! Our instructor-facilitated one-credit online courses are informative, fun, convenient, and highly interactive. Students enjoy our instructors ability to create warm and supportive communities of learners. These courses run for six weeks (with a 10-day grace period at the end). Courses are project-oriented and include lessons, quizzes, hands-on assignments, discussion areas, supplementary links, and more. You can complete any of these courses entirely from your home or office and at any time of the day or night. Getting Started: 1. Visit our Online Instruction Center: www.ed2go.com/mucedl 2. Click the Courses link, choose the department and course title you are interested in and select the Enroll Now button. Follow the instructions to enroll and pay for your course. Here you will enter your e-mail address and choose a password that will grant you access to the Classroom. 3. When your course starts, return to our Online Instruction Center and click the Classroom link. To begin your studies, simply log in with your e-mail address and the password you selected during enrollment. Start Dates: New course sessions begin each month. Please visit our Online Instruction Center to see exact start dates for the courses that interest you. Requirements: All courses require Internet access, E-mail, Microsoft Internet Explorer, or Firefox web browsers. Some courses may have additional requirements. The course fee is just $ 95 How Do Online Classes Work? plus a credit hour fee. Course fees are $95. If you re taking the course for credit, a tuition fee is also added. Please consult with your academic advisor first, then register with the Student Service Center at Maryville University, your advisor, or AccessMaryville. The Student Service Center or your advisor need to know which month you are signing up for as this will be the section number for your course. These are pass/fail courses and you need to achieve at least 70 points to pass an exam. You may only take the exam once. The course grade will only be taken from your final exam. If you wish to cancel your online credit course/courses, choose the appropriate action below: Before the start of the semester, notify the Student Service Center (314) 529-9370 AND Continuing Education (314) 529-9488 to delete the course. If the semester has started but the course has not started, notify the Student Service Center (314) 529-9370 AND Continuing Education (314) 529-9488 to delete the course. If the course has started, the Student Service Center will verify with Continuing Education that the student will need to withdraw from the course. This process will give the student a w grade in the course, and all charges remain the same. The last day to withdraw or drop from an online CEDL course without fee penalties is the start date of the class. 3
