Canyon Creek Online Scheduler Teacher Instructions Accessing the Online Scheduler and Logging In Click the link to access Canyon Creeks Online Scheduling software. There will also be an Online Scheduler button on the Bear Creek School website for easy access: https://www.canyoncreeksoftware.com/scheduler/pa/elizabethtown/index.cfm Click Teachers in the top left corner of the webpage To sign in to the website, enter the following information and then click LOGIN : Email address: District email address Password: Last name Please note: If you forget your password, you will need to click the Forgot your password? link below the sign in fields. Enter your district email address and your password will be emailed to you. The EASD Tech Department does NOT have access to your password for the Canyon Creek Online Scheduler. Logging Out of the Online Scheduler Click Logout in the top left corner of the webpage
Teacher Information Screen and Changing Password On your first time logging in you will be prompted to change the password from your last name to something more personal. It is recommended that you use your district password. Enter and confirm the following information and click CHANGE INFO : 1. Enter your new password 2. For confirmation, enter it a second time 3. Enter the grade level that you teach 4. Select your salutation 5. Verify or modify your first and last name 6. Room Number: Select the wording for the meeting location and enter the room number which will display on confirmation emails and take home notes 7. Show Name on the Parent Selection Screen: select Y if you are having parent conferences. Your name will appear on the teacher select screen. Select N if you are not having conferences so your name does not appear on the teacher select screen. 8. Confirm whether students should or should not attend the conference 9. Leave School Wide Schedule set to Y. Changing to N will erase the pre-set conference schedule and leave you with a blank editable schedule. A confirmation page will display once you have changed your profile information and saved it.
The screen defaults to the Make an Appointment & View Schedule screen. The top of the screen shows your schedule. Scroll down to see the areas where you can add appointments for parents if needed. Make an Appointment & View Schedule Screen Clicking the Help link in the top right corner of the screen opens the FAQ page. This page provides answers to commonly asked questions regarding how to use the online scheduler. For additional help, email Canyon Creek using the link on the website: support@canyoncreeksoftware.com. The Update Teacher Info button opens the teacher info screen. Update information such as password, grade, and room number. Current Schedule 1. You can view current schedule. Initially, all times are listed as AVAILABLE. 2. To block out a time for a lunch break or other reason, click AVAILABLE. It will then say BLOCKED OUT. Click again to toggle the time back to AVAILABLE. 3. To block out multiple time slots, select them by clicking the checkbox and then, at the bottom of the schedule, click
Print Your Schedule To print a copy of your schedule, click the link below the current schedule window: Add a Time To Your Schedule You will only use this section to add a time slot(s) OUTSIDE of the school-wide schedule. For example, if a parent cannot make it between 7:30am and 8:00pm Monday and Tuesday: 1. To add a range of times, a. click the sign at the top of the column header of the day you want to add times. b. Enter the start time, end time, the interval and click the Add time Slots button. c. Please note: the MAX Appointments Per Time Slot should be set to 1 so only one parent can schedule per slot. d. Once you confirm that you want to add the entered time slots, the Current Schedule will refresh and will be visible in the schedule. 2. Schedule a specific student OUTSIDE of the normal times: a. Select the student from the available list b. Select the date for the conference c. Select the hour, minutes and AM or PM d. Leave Appointments per Time Slot set to 1 to schedule that time slot for only one parent e. Click Add Time To Schedule. When the page refreshes, the student s name will be added to the current schedule.
Make An Appointment To schedule an appointment for specific student INSIDE the normal schedule times and schedule remaining unscheduled students: 1. Select the student from the drop-down menu which contains list of only unscheduled students 2. Select a time from the drop-down menu 3. Click MAKE APPOINTMENT. When the page refreshes, the student s name will be added to the current schedule. Note: If a meeting requires longer than a single allotted time slot, schedule the student in the first time slot and then block out the subsequent time slots. Take Home Notes When you create an appointment for a parent, you can send a note home showing the date and time of the appointment as well as any messages for an individual student or a message for the entire class. Notes can be printed for a specific student or for all students that have an appointment. 1. Individual Student Comments: Text entered here will only appear on the selected student s take home note. The student must have a scheduled appointment for their name to appear. 2. Enter Class Notes: Text entered here will print on ALL students take home notes (even those that have an individual student note above). The class notes will only appear on notes for students with an appointment scheduled prior to the note being created.
