Goals and Objectives of the Conference Present conference has two major directions for the discussion: discussion of the problems connected with Russian accession to the WTO; discussion of bilateral EU-Russia relations after Russia accession to the WTО. Main purpose of the conference is to discuss key and the most important problems of the EU Russia relations, connected with Russia accession to the WTO. Due to the discussion of these issues participants of the conference will have the possibility to correct or change the direction of their further scientific research. The conference consists of three parts. Firstly, the plenary part which contains participation of a wide range of participants, interested in the discussion of the above-mentioned problems (students, lecturers, representatives of governmental structures and business representatives). Two major speeches (not longer than 60 minutes) will be held during the first part, followed by the line of questions-answers and discussion on the topic. Second part of the conference (Section 1) will cover the legal aspects of Russia accession to the WTO. This part is only for registered participants of the conference and does not presume any listeners. Third part (Section 2) will cover the EU-Russia economic relations. Discussion of the legal aspects of the EU-Russia visa-free dialog as one of the factors which stimulate economic activity will be held separately. Both Russian and English languages by the means of simultaneous translation will be working languages of the first day of the conference. WTO Law Center WTO law Center is a scientific and educational structural department without the rights of a legal entity. It was created for the organization of the scientific and educational activity and educational programs regarding issues connected with the WTO law due to the accession of Russian Federation to the WTO and further integration of Russia into the international trade system. Major activities of the WTO law Center 1. Holding of the international scientific and practical conferences, round tables and seminars regarding WTO law; 2. Joint scientific research with foreign and national professors in the WTO law field; 3. Holding of the courses for the higher education, summer schools on the WTO law for the civil servants and lawyers; 4. Participation in the education of masters on the course 030900.68 «Jurisprudence» on the program International and European law on the Chair on International and European law. Centre for International and European Law The main aim of the Centre is a coordination of international cooperation on behalf of the Law institute at the IKBFU.
