NEW UPHOLSTERY COLOURS ATTRACT ATTENTION As a result of high demand for upholstery colour options for F1 dental units we have decided to add some new attractive alternatives. The total number of colour options has risen to 30! The updated list can be seen on the right. New set of samples will be sent to our dealers during May and the beginning of June.
MORE OPTIONS FOR MONDO Every dentist and clinic is different. This is why it is important that you can design equipment according to the specific needs. The original concept of F1 MONDO is based on a high level of standardization and fewer options. However, following to many requests from our Customers regarding model we can now offer a wider selection of options which are not limited by the number of units ordered, for example hanging hoses, F1 dual joysticks, scaler, multimedia system, water heater and additional autoclavable porcelain bowl. Sometimes we are asked why the Mondo instrument options, like curing lights or scalers, are more expensive than those chosen from our ordinary price list. The answer is simple the options for Mondo already include the price of instrument modules. In addition, we have been packaging the options in order to get easier selection and a more standard product varying it is always a bit more expensive. We will send you a separate e-mail with attached Excel sheet for Mondo orders. Hopefully this will help you to generate more good sales. It is strongly recommended to clean dental unit lines at the beginning of every day from any patient material that may have entered. The F1 Autoflush flushes unit- and instrument water lines for 3 minutes. The product comes with an autoclavable instrument holder fitting onto the cuspidor bowl.

INTRODUCING FIMET PURCHAS- ING DEPARTMENT: WE ARE ALWAYS PATIENT AND POSITIVE! Every now and then we all make certain purchases needed for everyday life, like goods for home or grocery; and we are quite good in that. But just imagine that your task is a bit more difficult: to plan and make purchases for a complex and diversified production facility like Fimet! Just think of hundreds and hundreds of spare parts, required for production process at certain time and in exact quantity, and delivered without any single delay or mistake. Think of all the responsibility, patience, reliability and purchasing skills that one should possess in order to succeed in this business. Fimet is happy to introduce our purchasing professionals Päivi and Tapio, who together form Fimet Purchasing Department. Päivi and Tapio work in the same field, but in different areas: Päivi makes purchases from abroad (mainly from Europe), and Tapio deals with
domestic market. In brief, their work might be described as buying stuff - but in fact they are involved in various processes: planning and scheduling, contacting and negotiating, ordering and tracking, receiving and unpacking, and finally delivering to the production. And of course, a lot of paper work; and, naturally, a lot of internal communication our Purchasers work in close cooperation with the sales department. We are always patient and positive in any situation! Päivi says, and we understand that it is really the most professional and efficient approach to the complicated industrial purchasing process. Written by Alexey Samsonov Tapio on the left and Päivi holding the lamp SPORTS NEWS The unofficial chess championship match of Fimet was played between former Russian Area Export Manager Kirill Zelenski and Kari Kiviniemi from R&D, Kirill winning the Fimet champion title. Kari (on the left) and Kirill concentrating on the game Almost every fifth Fimet employee plays a game called sähly. It is a kind of floor ball where 3-6 players can be on the field at one time. Each player has a maximum 120 cm long stick made of synthetic material such as fibreglass or plastic. The ball is made of plastic and its diameter is 72 mm.
In addition to schoolchildren and students, many work places have also taken up sähly and the so-called intercompany matches have come to stay. Our team even took part in a floor ball tournament between 58 teams. This time success was moderate but ambitious goals are already set for the 2009 tournament.
