Account Activation & Maintenance Account Activation & Password Maintenance Supports multiple unique User IDs for each Account each person or system accessing an account must have their own User ID Creation of new Accounts may be initiated through your D&B representative Requests to add new User IDs to an existing account may be made via the Support link at the top of the user interface logon page Tutorial 7

User Interface: Using The System User Interface The left menu pane contains two sections: SafeTransPort for transmitting files. Remote Folders contains your gets and your puts folders Mailbox contains your SafeTransPort Mail My Computer for viewing files on your local drive Tutorial 24
Using The System Sending Files
Using The System: Sending Files Sending Files to D&B 1. Click on the puts Folder 2. Click on the Upload button 3. Navigate through the dialog box to find the desired file 4. Click on the file to select it 5. Click on Open to upload the file Tutorial 26
Using The System: Sending Files Sending Files to D&B At the bottom of the page you will notice the Transfers Queue. From this screen you can monitor your upload Click onto the current job if you d like to pause, resume, or delete it Pause will stop a selected transmission Resume will continue a selected paused transmission Delete will stop a selected transmission and remove it from the queue Tutorial 27
Using The System: Sending Files Sending Files to D&B Once the transmission is completed, the status changes to Finished. Indicates that your file transmitted successfully Each time you submit a file, e-mail notifications are sent out Check your local mail client (e.g. Microsoft Outlook) for these messages Tutorial 28
Using The System: Sending Files Notification Emails Once your file is transmitted you will receive three notification emails Transfer Confirmation is the first of three emails Indicates that the file was successfully uploaded onto the puts folder Key information such as Filename, Tracking ID, file size, and record count are included in this message Tutorial 29
Using The System: Sending Files Notification Emails Accepted for Processing is the second of three emails Indicates that the file was in the accepted format and passed the virus scanning process Key information such as Filename, Tracking ID, file size, and record count are included in this message Tutorial 30

Using The System: Retrieving Files Notification Emails Once a file is ready for download, a notification is sent to you The Ready for Pickup message notifies you that a file is ready for download Indicates that the file is waiting in the gets folder Key information such as Filename, Tracking ID, file size, and record count are included in this message Scroll further down in this message and you will find download instructions Tutorial 33
Using The System: Retrieving Files Receiving Files from D&B 1. Click on the gets Folder 2. Click on the file that you d like to download to select it 3. Click on the Download button to receive the file 4. Click on the resulting downloaded file link at the bottom of your window to open your file Tutorial 34
Using The System STP Mail
Using The System: STP Mail Sending a File through STP Mail STP Mail is available to you for sending adhoc files to a D&B Contact. 1. To start, click on the Compose Mail Icon 2. The Compose Mail Tab appears on the main window 3. Type in the D&B contact s email address on the To: line 4. Type in a desired subject on the Subject line 5. Set Expiration to 7 Days 6. Using The System: STP Mail Sending a File through STP Mail 1. Click on the Attach File button found towards the bottom right of the screen 2. Navigate to the desired file and click on the file to select it 3. Click on the Open button to attach the file to the STP Mail Message Tutorial 37
Using The System: STP Mail Sending a File through STP Mail Towards the bottom of the screen, you will see the list of files attached to the message. Click on the Attach File button to add more files To remove a file, click on the corresponding check box and click on the Remove Files button A draft is automatically saved and is available in your Drafts folder You can also click on the Save Now button to save a draft Click on the Discard button to delete this message without sending When you re ready, click on the Send button to transmit the file Tutorial 38

Using The System: Logging Out Logging Out Once you ve completed your session, it s best to log out of the system. 1. Locate the Logout link at the upper right hand corner of the screen 2. Click on the Logout link to close your Session. Tutorial 40

User Interface Support Upon submitting the Support Request Form, a Support Case is created for you and assigned to the STP Customer Support Team. Note the Case Number when corresponding with the Support Team. Tutorial 48
User Interface Support You will also receive an email confirmation of the case that you ve submitted with the details that you ve provided. Tutorial 49
