TECHNICAL DATA Sunnymec 3000 Yearly revision of mechanical and Maintenance electrical parts Totally indipendent PLC, on each Automation tracking system with possible remote control and interconnection 50 months on the part built by Guarantee Meccatronica SHADOWS To avoid having shadows or other elements that cast shadows hanging over the trackers, distance of 15 m in E-W direction and 12 m in N-S direction should be manteined between the tracker axes. With the distances above described, each tracker occupies virtually 180 sqm, with a power density of about 17 Wp/sqm. NOTE: the distance between the trackers can depend on the number of photovoltaic modules fitted on each SunnyMec and latitude. If requested MECCATRONICA can perform a specific calculation, to reduce space and increase the density coefficient Wp /sqm, besides the above values. Pagina 3 di 10

FOUNDATION SunnyMec 3000 trakers can be installed on concrete footing with the dimension given below: CONCRETE: Exposure class XC2 Aggregates max. dia. 25 mm S4 consistency class Resistance class C25/30 Rck= 300 dan/ sq cm levelling tollerance on the surface: max +- 5 mm/m CORRUGATED STEEL: B450C THREAD BARS: No.4 on square 1028 x 1028 mm M16 CL. 5.8 / L= 250 galvanized or stainless steel use chemichal anchor type T-BOND fisher for fixing HOLE DIAMETER: 18...20 ( size dipends on the type of chemical anchor ) This foooting requires no excavation work: it is only necessary to clean off the ground, remove the vegetation on the surface and levelling the ground. In case of particular terrain, Meccatronica can help the customer with a new footing calculation ( data of terrain to be provided by the client). Pagina 6 di 10
TRANSPORT AND ASSEMBLY SunnyMec 3000 are delivered pre-mounted but the final assembly, along with the necessary machinery and personnel, is requested usually the responsability of the client. If request Meccatronica can assist for final assembly on site using its own personnel. For their transport the SunnyMec 3000 modules can be splitted into only 3 parts: 1. MAIN BODY: base disk with main wheel carriage ( 1400 x 2100 x H 1000 mm ) 2. CENTRAL FRAME ( 2800 x 2100 h 120 mm) 3. PV module support frame ( 1030 x 90/180 x L= 3600...6960 ) All the bolts, nuts, pins necessary for the assembly are supplied with the trackers. During SunnyMec assembly, lifting equipment must be used to place the parts. Said machinery used in the assembly of the tracker will be the client's responsability ( if not otherwise agreed ) Pagina 7 di 10
Tracker assembly requests the following operations ( two persons are needed) : STEP OPERATION TIME Place the MAIN BODY on the foundation footing; 1 Line up the base disk; 15 min Fix the main body using the four bracket suplied with SunnyMec; 2 Place the CENTRAL FRAME on the MAIN BODY : only 2 pins are necessary. 5 min 3 Place the PV module support frame on the CENTRAL FRAME: only 4 pins are necessary. 10 min Total time request: 30 min START UP The SunnyMec start up is very simple. It's only necessary: 1. to set the GPS coordinates of the installation site 2. to set the East end switch position. Normally the start up is made by a Meccatronica Technician, but the operation are explained in the manual suplied with the traker. If the interactive display is not avaiable it will be necessary to use the mobile display supplied as optional. Pagina 8 di 10
