They prepared the food, and I photographed their culinary creations and designed the magazine itself. The goal of the project was to create a gourmet cooking magazine for the at home chef. chocolatier I have become very fond of gourmet foods; an avenue of life I have just recently discovered. Couple this with my love of package design and the concept for Chocolatier was born. The packaging design for the Chocolatier company was inspired by the bright, vibrant colors of the gourmet ingredients they use, along with the elegant sophistication commonly associated with gourmet foods..
The brand MadMan was the creation of a Denver-based wine distributor. Working with a California vineyard Rutherford Red, was born. The project goal was to make an identity system for the MadMan brand that could be used in conjunction with several varieties of wine. I used sophisticated imagery with bold color to signify the variety of wine for the target market group consuming a mid-level wine..
