STUDENT AWARDS Team DDK made up of BBA students Wirawit Pipatwongkasem, Wantana Hanworakiat, Nopdech Tayarachakul, and Waditaporn Sakulrompotichai took home first place at the 2014 CIMA Global Business Challenge Thailand Final Team TU Brainstorm made up of Prachaya Oonomornchaikul, Jirawuth Saaleaw Laktabian, Lertwasisod Teanthong, Nontakorn Waliseusat, and Wilailak Tawalai took home first prize at the DTN Business Plan Award 2014 for their work on Asian Smart Gen Alinpim Kiriyapong a BBA student took home first place in the McGill Management International Case Competition 2014 in Montreal, Canada. Chanakarn Poboon, Jitpan Kwanchit, Soskorn Panichsombat, Chinwat Asawachaisopon, Suwapat Tasawasdi, and Tanik Reungpanyapoch students from the BBA program won first place in the TMA Building Excellent Leaders competition. THAMMASAT SWEEPS AT THE YOUNG FINANCIAL STAR COMPETITION 2014 Chatchai Ngamwipas, Worayuth Pikulsawas, and Nopon Jaisaan take home first, second, and third place respectively for the SET Investment Star Division Kamolrat Aramwithayanukul and Tonwat Chinpinkleaw ; Narong yosjitjaroenkul, and Chatchai Ngamwipas won the first place, second place, and third placetfex Derivatives Star Team awards respectively Chatchai Ngamwipas; Apichaya Priyawitit and Wacharis Worasitikorn; and Chanisra Sukrattanachaikul and Titiwuti Tangpikulthong were awarded first place, second place, and third place respectively in the PTT CSR Star Team division.

INST 2014 AWARDS Thammasat University received 2 gold medals, 1 silver medal, and 1 bronze medal at The 10 th Taipei International Invention Show and Technomart (INST 2014) Assistant Professor Dr. Sudaporn Sudprasert & Sasicha Sakdawattanan - Gold medal for their work on Waterfall Roof Pond System for Residential Building in Hot and Humid Climate. Also received the Honor of Invention from the WIIPA as well as the Special Award from AIA. Professor Dr. Tanachai Lipakprida- Gold medal for research regarding the Helium Balloon Anemometer. Also received the Special Prize from Korea Invention Promotion Association and an Outstanding Diploma from TIIIA Assistant Professor Chitti Mongkolchaiaranya & Associate Professor Worapat Lakontinawong Silver Medal for their work in the Sustainable Energy Stove. Also received the Special Award from the Taiwan Invention Association, the Leading Innovation Award from IPNF, and the Special Award from Korea Invention Academy. MORE AWARDS Professor Dr. Somnuk Tangtermsirikul won the National Research Award from for his work in Engineering and Industrial research. Dr. Wanpa Tirasanka won the merit award for high quality research in the field of Law from the National Research Council. Associate Professor Dr. Tawachai Onjun and the faculty received the merit award of outstanding research in the field of Health Science. Professor Dr. Padungsak Ratanadaecho was chosen to be the Research Savant of 2013, someone who is recognized for being one of the best in the country in the fields of science and technology. Professor Dr. Sakul Boon-itt received the merit award for high quality research in Economics in 2013 from the National Research Council. Associate Professor Pornchai Trakulworan received the Award for Outstanding Research and Development for the Family in 2013 from the Office of Women s Affairs and Family.
