As the leading global owner, operator and developer of industrial real estate, Prologis strives to provide a sustainable logistics and distribution platform unparalleled in the industry. This focus on environmental stewardship takes a holistic approach to each step in the life cycle of our properties. Developing sustainable facilities at well-located sites Enhancing energy efficiency and reducing the carbon footprint of our property portfolio Developing distributed-generation solar energy projects Pursuing the latest innovations in energy-efficient and intelligent building solutions These sustainability efforts deliver value to customers and investors by enabling more efficient supply chain networks, lowering facility operating costs and creating operating environments that enhance worker productivity. These measures preserve asset value over the long term through reduced obsolescence, higher occupancy and consistent rental income. prologis.com

TRACKING OUR PERFORMANCE Member of the Global 100 list of Most Sustainable Corporations As a member of the Global 100 list of Most Sustainable Corporations, Prologis strives to effectively communicate its sustainability efforts to customers, investors and key stakeholders. In addition to reporting our progress annually through our GRI-based corporate responsibility report, Prologis is listed on the Dow Jones Sustainability Index and the FTSE4Good index. Each year, the company responds to the Carbon Disclosure Project (CDP), and to the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB) for key investment funds. Additional information about our efforts can be found at www.prologis.com. CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY Prologis measures its effectiveness in corporate responsibility with a triple bottom line: benefit to the planet, benefit to people and economic value creation. Corporate responsibility at Prologis is focused in three interdependent areas: Environmental stewardship how we develop and operate our properties Social responsibility the ways we engage with local communities and our own employees Ethics & governance the standards we set for conducting our business

Prologis delivers industry-leading expertise that ensures the performance of our developments meet and exceed expectations. From ISO 14001 certification to embodied carbon emission studies, Prologis consistently delivers high-quality projects with low impacts on the environment that our customers and investors demand. Teams at Prologis focus on developing projects that tread lightly on the environment: Selecting sites near transportation corridors and multimodal interchanges Maximizing building energy efficiency and reducing carbon emissions Making smart building material choices Conserving natural resources RATING SYSTEMS Prologis brings to its customers broad experience with global sustainable building certification standards. A track record of 37 million square feet (3.4 million square meters) of certified projects in 11 countries speaks for itself. Whether developing the largest and highest-rated logistics and distribution facilities or working with customers to measure and reduce embodied carbon emissions, Prologis has unmatched experience delivering industry-leading sustainable buildings. prologis.com

Prologis pursues sustainable measures that attract and retain customers and enhance asset value. These efforts help increase occupancy, boost NOI and support higher valuations. Whether Prologis is delivering a sustainable development for a build-to-suit customer, leasing rooftop space to generate revenue from solar, or enhancing energy efficiency to retain customers and modernize its properties, these efforts are focused on measures that create long-term investment value. FACILITY FEATURES Sustainable technologies incorporated by Prologis include: Energy-efficient lighting systems that significantly reduce electricity usage Skylights and clerestory windows that lower energy usage and improve indoor environmental quality Smart metering that enables real-time management of building energy use Air-tight building envelopes that reduce energy loss Cool roofing that reduces heat-island effects and improves indoor comfort for occupants Recycled and locally sourced construction materials that reduce demand for virgin materials Water-conserving plumbing designs that reduce water consumption in drought-sensitive regions Low-emitting sealants, adhesives and carpets that enhance indoor air quality

Prologis implements a range of energy-conserving solutions at its properties that are designed to reduce customer operating costs, enhance operational efficiency and modernize our portfolio. From efficient heating and cooling equipment to LED site lighting and smart sensors that maximize energy savings, Prologis works with customers to deliver cost-effective and energy-saving enhancements to our property portfolio that reduce operating costs and benefit the environment. Lighting Lighting is often the largest electrical load in a distribution facility, consuming up to two-thirds of total electricity usage. Prologis has worked with customers to deploy high-efficiency lighting in more than 380 million square feet (35.3 million square meters) of properties. These upgrades reduce lighting energy costs by up to 40 percent, enhance light quality and can improve customer productivity. Roofing Prologis utilizes white, reflective cool roofing in warm climates to minimize heat gain inside our facilities and reduce the urban heat island effect outside them. Compared with dark-colored roofing, this provides a more comfortable workspace and reduces impacts on the local environment. Prologis has installed more than 165 million square feet (15.3 million square meters) of white reflective roofing, delivering a sustainable solution for an often-overlooked element of industrial buildings. Landscaping Landscape irrigation is often the single largest consumer of water in a distribution facility. In water-constrained and drought-prone environments, Prologis installs low-water landscaping and high-efficiency plumbing fixtures to reduce demand on limited fresh water supplies, and utilizes graywater where available. As landscaping needs to be renewed, Prologis is increasingly converting to more water-efficient designs. prologis.com

Prologis Renewable Energy partners with utilities and investors seeking new sources of distributed renewable energy. Electricity from these systems flows to the utility grid and supplies the surrounding community. Prologis has developed a portfolio of more than 80 megawatts of photovoltaic system installations in five countries to support cost-effective and profitable clean energy generation. LEADING BY EXAMPLE Prologis corporate headquarters at Pier 1 in San Francisco, California a historic waterfront property already recognized for its sustainable redevelopment is receiving an energy-efficiency overhaul that will reduce grid energy consumption by 32 percent. Prologis undertook this project to demonstrate an innovative form of financing called PACE (Property Assessed Clean Energy) to spur similar efforts among others in the real estate industry. This project includes a full lighting retrofit, recommissioning of the heating and cooling system, and a rooftop solar array. The Pier 1 upgrade follows a similar recommissioning effort at the company s Denver operational headquarters in 2011.
