Panasonic s experienced design team took this into account when developing the Panasonic KV-S1026C scanner, thus creating a high-speed desktop scanner with the smallest footprint possible. Mixed-size Document Feeding The ability to handle mixed-size documents is an essential feature for many office environments that handle multiple documents and document sizes. For example, an office may need to scan a health questionnaire printed on letter size paper and a medical insurance card. The KV-S1026C is capable of scanning all of these documents in a single scan, automatically cropping the scanned image and laying the front and back of the card side by side. This helps save time by feeding documents of various sizes in one shot without the need for multiple scans. Ultrasonic Double-feed Detection: Accurate Scanning The KV-S1026C is equipped with an ultrasonic sensor, which accurately detects double-feeding even when scanning documents of various thicknesses. When double-feeding is detected, the ultrasonic sensor prevents it by immediately stopping the scanning process. Double-feed Skip (DFS) Key Should a scan operation stop due to the detection of double-feeding, simply press the DFS key to resume scanning. This is convenient when you don t want scanning to stop due to documents with things like receipts or sticky notes attached, or envelopes.
