From university Sonia joined Downs Surgical and worked primarily in export until 1999. Sonia established Sheffmed in 2000 with Alan and is responsible for the internal workings of the company. Sonia is married with 2 dogs, 2 cats and enjoys organising the company social calendar. Alan started life out in the Forces before joining the NHS and working in procurement. In 1991 Alan joined the private sector and so began his career in sales and marketing.
