Our easy to use guide will get you up and running in no time! The guide will assist you with: Generating your Sage Pay login Navigation Creating contacts Creating system users Setting up permissions Manage notifications Resetting passwords and PINs Login 1. The Sage Pay system is internet based and can be accessed at https://www.merchant.sagepay.co.za. 2. Login details consist of a username, password and pin. When your Sage Pay is activated, each of the system users will be sent an email containing a link and username to personalise login details. 2
How to generate your Sage Pay login. Generate your login details: 1. Click on the activation link inside the email you received from Sage Pay Support and insert the username and registered email address, select continue. 2. You will receive another email from Sage Pay support which includes your One Time Pin. Insert your One Time Pin along with your username. Select continue. 3
How to generate your Sage Pay login (continued). Generate your login details (continued): 3. To reset your Password or Pin in future, you will need to answer a security question. Select a question from the list and type in an answer you will easily remember. 4. Please type in a password as well as PIN that you will easily remember. Do not use any password you have ever used before. Include uppercase, lowercase as well as numeric characters for optimum security. 4
Sage Pay Navigation. The main menu options are located on the black menu bar at the top of the page, included are: Navigation 1. Accounts - displays each Sage Pay and allows access to sub s. 2. Services - displays each of the services that have been activated on your Sage Pay. 3. Account profile - allows you to control how your Sage Pay will function and what levels of access your users will have. 4. Account support - view contact details for your Account Manager and Account Support persons. 5
How to create a contact. To add a user to the system the first step is to add a contact. Set up a contact 1. Select Account profile -> Contact Profiles -> Contacts. 2. Click on Add contact. 3. Complete the required fields and click Submit. 4. Your contact will now be added to the system. Note that certain fields are mandatory. ID numbers are validated and Passport numbers need to be between 10 and 13 characters in length. 6
How to create system users. Each Sage Pay has one system super user. This user has full rights and controls all aspects of the Sage Pay. By default the super user is a principal of the legal entity (director, member, partner etc.). Create system users: System users can only be selected from the contact users list. You need to add a contact before you can add a system user. 1. Select Account Profile -> System Users -> Manage system users. A list of all contacts will be displayed. 2. Edit the user entry by clicking on the pencil icon. 3. Select the System User tick box on the following screen for the user you want to activate. 4. Select the Active tick box to activate the user profile. 5. Choose a username for the new profile and click on Generate. 6. Once the log in details have been generated, click on the submit button. 7
How to setup permissions. Quick steps to setup system permissions: 1. Select Account Profile -> System users -> Manage system users. 2. Click on the pencil icon to the left of the user that you wish to edit. 3. Select the Manage Permissions button. 4. A list of s is now displayed, select the s to which you want to give the selected user permission to. 5. Select Save changes. 8
How to setup service permissions. Service permissions relate to Services that you have activated on the Sage Pay system and allow you to control the levels of access that each of your Sage Pay system users have. Setup service permissions: 1. A pop up box will display to confirm the changes. Click OK. 2. Select the Services tab. 3. Select the Section and Sub section for which permissions are to be allocated. 4. Allocation of permissions can now be performed for the selected s. Note by selecting all and using the All s dropdown, one permission can be allocated for all s. 5. Click save changes once you have selected permissions for the relevant sub section, you may then proceed to the next section and subsection. 9

How to manage notification permissions. Manage notifications: 1. Select system users, notifications 2. Select the user that requires notification permissions to be set by clicking on the pencil to the left of the user 3. Select the service/s that are to be edited by clicking on the plus button to the right of the service 4. Adjust permissions and select submit 11
How to reset your password or PIN By now you probably have quite a number of online s. Forgetting your password happens to the best of us. Reset your password or PIN: 1. Navigate to https://merchant.sagepay.co.za and click on the Forgotten login details. 2. Enter the username that was emailed to you from Sage Pay Support as well as the registered email address. 12

You will then be prompted to answer a predefined security question. 5. Insert your new password and PIN and click confirm. 6. Select continue and login to the system via the homepage. Still stuck?
