The Rotary Club of Hendersonville will now accept applications for college scholarships. This year, the Rotary Club of Hendersonville is awarding at least five scholarships, worth up to $2,500 each. Scholarships based on academic achievement and financial need Jim Moore Memorial Scholarship Student attending Volunteer State Community College. Bob Ellis and Ralph Hanning Memorial Scholarships Student attending any accredited higher education institution in the United States. Scholarship awarded on assessment of academic achievement Wally Nicoll Academic Excellence Scholarship Student attending any accredited higher education institution in the United States. The attached application form is used to apply for each scholarship. Only 1 application is required per student. The scholarships will be awarded to graduating students residing in the Hendersonville area who are currently attending Beech, Hendersonville, Station Camp, Merroll Hyde, or Pope John Paul II High School. An application form is attached. You may make as many copies as needed. Students are to submit their completed application to the guidance office at their school no later than Friday, April 13th. A member of the Club will pick up the applications on Monday, April 16th. No late applications will be accepted. It is required that the completed application includes: copy of their high school transcript, showing ACT scores copy of their parents or guardians latest signed IRS Form 1040 from three letters of recommendation. Students may attach additional pages if there is not enough space on the application form.
