I think there are some mistakes in the order please can you check it and then send it to the customer? These are the customer s details: Invoice Number: AES/1577 Date: November 30 Customer s name and address: Andy King, Andy s Electrical Services, 37 Bank Street, Swindon SN16 2EK And this is the order: 16 office calendars @ 4.00 each 20 4gb usb memory sticks @ 2.50 each 10 boxes of paper cups @ 7.00 a box 6 mouse mats @ 2 each Please check all the details on the invoice Molly was a bit careless before she left! Round up Money and job satisfaction Look at this list of jobs. Work in groups of three. Student A, make a list of the five highest-paid jobs. Student B, make a list of the five jobs which have the most job-satisfaction. Student C, make a list of the five jobs which should have the highest salary. Together they find and correct the mistakes on the invoice. Check answers in class NB: The symbol @ is pronounced at. In pairs, students fill in the missing words. Individually, students tick the correct information and correct the wrong information. Students do the task individually and compare answers in class. 1 B, 2 B, 3 A, 4 A, 5 B, 6 A, 7 B, 8 A, 9 B, 10 A The Extension is optional and allows for time flexibility. Make copies of Spending time one for each student. Ask students to look at the pie charts and write sentences about Claire, using the patterns on their handout. After five minutes, stop the activity and ask volunteers to read sentences to the class. If time permits, get students to make their own pie chart saying how they spend their time and explain it to a partner. Example answers: She used to spend a lot of time travelling to work / shopping / meeting friends, working. Now she doesn t spend much time travelling to work / meeting friends. Now she spends a lot of time working / relaxing at home. Round up: Money and job satisfaction 15 minutes Make a copy of the worksheet one for each student. Students work in groups of three and write their lists. When they ve finished, they discuss their answers. Monitor the activity and give help only if communication is in danger of breaking down.
