Bucks County Community College (Bucks) Rider University Program to Program Guaranteed Transfer Agreement between Liberal Arts: Psychology Pre-Professional (1060) (A.A.) from Bucks County Community College (Bucks) and the Bachelor of Arts with a Psychology major At Rider University In the interest of providing Bucks County Community College students with improved opportunities to excel in higher education, Rider University (Rider) and Bucks County Community College (Bucks) agree to create a Program to Program - Guaranteed Transfer Agreement between the Psychology Pre-Professional Program at Bucks and the Bachelor of Arts with a major in Psychology at Rider. 1. Rider University will guarantee transfer admission; waiver of application fee; acceptance of all credits earned with a grade of C or better that count toward the Associate degree in the Liberal Arts: Psychology Pre-Professional (1060) program and meet Rider University equivalents; and full junior status to all graduates in good standing of the Liberal Arts: Psychology Pre-Professional (1060) degree at Bucks. Rider University admission will be granted to students who have fulfilled the following criteria: A. Declared their participation in this program while enrolled at Bucks by completing the Rider Intent to Enroll Form. (Note: Students should be advised to submit their application to the program before they have completed 30 credits at Bucks in order to maximize the efficiency of their transfer to Rider University.) B. Followed the appropriate transfer program of prescribed course selections for Rider while at Bucks, listed in the Transfer Advising Guide. C. Taken all their courses and completed their Associate degree at Bucks. D. Earned a cumulative grade point average of at least a 2.75. E. Applied for transfer admission by the normal Rider transfer application deadline. 2. This agreement between Bucks and Rider goes into effect immediately upon receipt of the signatures of each institution. 3. This agreement shall be subject to academic review and renewal every five years. 4. Bucks will provide its students with full information about the Program to Program Guaranteed Transfer Admission Program that falls under the overall Guaranteed Transfer Agreement with Rider and Bucks. Students under this Program to Program Agreement will be also eligible for the benefits outlined in the Rider-Bucks overall Guaranteed Transfer Agreement. 5. Students who declare their intent to participate will work directly with Bucks transfer and advising staff to obtain assistance with course selections which fulfill Rider s requirements.

6. Bucks will provide Rider with the names and contact information of students who have enrolled in the Program to Program Guaranteed Transfer Admission Program and Rider will establish communication with the participating students. Students will provide this information and permission to share information when they complete the Bucks-Rider Guaranteed Transfer Admission Intent to Enroll Form. 7. The regular process for transfer admission to Rider will remain for Bucks students who do not participate in this program as well as for program participants who do not fulfill the requirements listed in Article 1 of this document. 8. Rider University is committed to making our educational opportunities as affordable as possible. With scholarship and financial aid, transfer students often find Rider s private education is comparable to attending a public college or university. The Bucks transfer student, who holds a GPA of 2.50 to 4.00 on college-level work, is eligible upon the submission of a full-time student application, for consideration for transfer scholarships and grants. In addition, for those students of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at Bucks County Community College the student may be eligible to receive an annual renewable scholarship. For specific financial aid and scholarship information please access the Rider University website. 9. Bucks students, following completion of the Bucks-Rider Guaranteed Transfer Admission Intent to Enroll Form, have the option to take an additional course at Rider that counts toward the Rider degree at no charge. The designated courses require a grade of C or better and allow the Bucks student to experience first-hand the academic environment at Rider.
