The Mountain & Lake Collection Meritus Signature Homes was founded on two principles, holding our homes to the highest standard of integrity and building each home with the intent of beginning a lasting relationship. We ve been a member of the Southern Living Custom Builder Program since 2006, a select network of some of the finest home builders in the South. All of our homes are built to be 100% Energy Star efficient, a standard which ensures the quality of each home we build. Since our founding in 2005 we ve built over 400 homes across the Upstate South Carolina and Western North Carolina. We ve had the pleasure of working with families in the construction of their dream home, as well as partnering with communities such as the Cliffs, Grand Highlands, and many more. We re still seeking the upmost integrity in our work and to continue to build the Meritus family one home at a time. The Mountain & Lake Collection was designed for people who need a quality home designed for lake, mountain or golf communities. Each plan was created to alleviate the process of hiring all the necessary professionals to design a home from the begining. Custom home building however, is still our specialty; the plans have been designed to adapt and accommodate the desires of the home owner and the standards of a gated community. The concept of each plan allows for main level living with open spaces and first floor master suites. The plans are designed for seasonal retreats or yearround living. Each plan maximizes every square foot, ranging from 2500-3500 heated square feet and offering 3, 4 or 5 bedroom combinations. All plans allow for flexible room use, ample storage space, screened porches and decks, and oversized garages. Our experience with Meritus was excellent. Our design center provides a hands-on experience to help you select all of your finishes. Our in-house interior design team will correlate exterior and interior selections, balancing it all on your personal style and taste every step of the way. With Meritus, you will recieve a fixed price contract for your new Mountain & Lake Collection home. Once you ve selected a plan, the price will not change unless you ve decided to make customized modifications. Rooms may be added and plans may be adapted for individual lot topography. Our site superintendent will ensure the quality of completed work and timely construction as we guide you through the selection process.
