810 EDI CUSTOMER BILLING CONVENTIONS Functional Group ID=IN Introduction: This standard Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Map contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Invoice Transaction Set (810) for use within the context of an EDI environment. The transaction set can be used to provide for customary and established business and industry practice relative to the billing for goods and services provided. Notes: GENERAL INVOICING NOTATIONS: This document contains the processing necessary for an exchange of Consolidated Billing data between Electric Service Providers (ESP s) and SCE as a Utility Distribution Company (UDC). The exchange is limited to SCE receiving (inbound) an 810 from an ESP and SCE sending (outbound) an 824 to Accept or Reject. 824 EDI APPLICATION ADVICE CONVENTIONS Functional Group ID=AG Introduction: This customized Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) Map contains the format and establishes the data contents of the Invoice Transaction Set (824) for use within the context of an EDI environment. The transaction set can be used to provide for the acceptance or rejection of any transaction set. Notes: GENERAL INVOICING NOTATIONS: This document has been customized for Consolidated billing with SCE and contains the processing necessary for an exchange of Application Advice (EDI 824) in response to Consolidated Billing data (EDI 810 V.3070) between SCE as a Utility Distribution Company (UDC) and Electric Service Providers (ESP). The exchange is limited to SCE receiving (inbound) an 810 from an ESP and SCE sending (outbound) an 824 to Accept or Reject. This document contains the processing necessary for a TIME OF USE (TOU), NON- TOU (GS-1, GS-2, OL-1, TC-1, PA-1, DOMESTIC) and Summary bill. See the SLN and ITA segments in the billing detail as well as the MEA segment in the usage detail. This document also contains the processing necessary for a Multiple Statement Bill. Multiple Statement Bills occur when there is more than one Service Account Number involved (such as a Street Light) or the same Service Account Number (such as a Corrected or Re-Bill).
