TRANSFER ARTICULATION AGREEMENT Bachelor Completion Program Bachelor of Science in Child, Family & Community Studies And Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, and Human Services Administration

and, in recognition of a valuable and barrier-free public to private academic experience, have created a Bachelor Completion Program between the School of Education and the Associate of Science in Education and Human Services programs at. OBJECTIVES: 1. To encourage the transfer of qualified students from to. 2. To award academic credit for courses completed at that meet the terms of the Education degree for application toward the requirements for the Bachelor Completion Program. 3. To provide effective and concise guidelines for students seeking to transfer to Merrimack College. TERMS OF THE TRANSFER ARTICULATION AGREEMENT: 1. guarantees, upon completion of all other admission requirements, the acceptance of students who completed the Associate in Science degree programs in Education and Human Services at with an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better to the Bachelor Completion program at. 2. guarantees the transfer of credit as stipulated in the attached Program of Study. This agreement assumes both the completion of the Associate Degree and completion of the courses listed on the attached Program of Study. A minimum of one hundred and twentyfour (124) credits must be completed to earn the Bachelor Degree within the Bachelor Degree Completion Program. will accept no more than seventy-five (75) credits in transfer from. To receive a degree from, a student must fulfill the following residence requirements: a. At least forty-eight (48) credits must be taken at ; b. At least half of the major credit requirements must be taken at ; c. At least twenty-four (24) of the last thirty-two (32) credits must be taken at Merrimack College and all credits in the final semester must be taken at. Students will not be permitted to take required courses necessary to complete the program they are enrolled in at Merrimack at an alternative institution during their last semester as students at Merrimack. 3. transfer students will be subject to all education requirements of as set forth in the catalog. For those students who have not completed all of the general education requirements listed in the articulation agreement matrices, their applications will be reviewed and they may be accepted, upon a demonstrated understanding that the appropriate general education courses must be

completed to meet Merrimack graduation requirements. Please note that certain electives fulfill general education requirements and will be reviewed accordingly. 4. This Articulation Agreement is based upon the evaluation of course descriptions presented to. Courses as listed in this agreement will transfer in as courses provided a grade of C or better has been earned. If a grade lower than C is earned, elective credit will be given. 5. students interested in participating in this agreement should be advised to take the suggested elective courses. These courses are required at Merrimack College and students are advised to complete them as part of their Associate Degree whenever possible. 6. Both and agree to publicize this agreement and availability to their students and other stakeholders by posting the agreed upon transfer credit of courses on the respective school s website. 7. This agreement shall remain in effect for a period of three (3) years from the date listed below, with the provision that the terms specified herein will continue to apply to students admitted from the Associate Degree program within one (1) year of the expiration of the agreement. Each institution agrees to provide timely notice to the other in the event of any modification to the curriculum that might affect the compatibility for admission and transfer of coursework. This agreement is subject to change by either institution.
