I Wish I Could Find the Time Does it seem like you blinked and your website became dated, and you can t find the time to fix it? Most business owners recognize they want to increase traffic to their website and thus their business, but are overwhelmed by the time it requires. Most business owners spend their time on building their business, hoping to make a profit. They find it nearly impossible to focus energy on bringing in new clients when spending all their time servicing current patients. A quick Google search for marketing and web companies brings up countless offerings, all promising the moon and stars. Researching, meeting and interviewing these potential companies is a time consuming project all by itself. For Dr. Bahl of Excel Dental Studio in Merrillville, Indiana, the solution was to partner with Tier 4 Healthcare. Dr. Bahl is a very successful dentist, whose usual business day does not include web design & development or internet marketing related activities. He knew he was losing clients (and money) because of his website, but he couldn t find the time to dedicate himself to build an effective online presence without the right partner. He knew he was losing clients (and money) because of his website, but had trouble finding the time to fix it. He understood that as a small business owner it is crucial to connect with his patients on a professional and personal level. He knew that his website was a good vehicle to accomplish this, but it was difficult to make updating his website a priority. Like many business owners, he was busy managing his business. His patients could visit his web site at home, but not on tablets and smart phones which he noticed was the device of choice for a growing number of patients in his waiting room. It became clear he needed to make updating his website a priority. He was more or less happy with the content, but it was starting to look dated, and he felt that it didn t accurately reflect his vision of his practice. I didn t feel like throwing good money after bad, so I opted for doing a complete redesign that was responsive to all current web browser platforms. I had considered just staying with my old website and try to make it what I wanted, but I knew that by doing that, it would be just prolonging what needed to be done eventually. I didn t feel like throwing good money after bad, so I opted for doing a complete redesign that was responsive to all current web browser platforms. I also felt that it would be best to have a website updated regularly to highlight my success stories and new services. He contracted Tier 4 Healthcare to develop a responsive website design that adjusts gracefully to fit on all desktop, tablet, and smart phone browsers. As a business owner, I just don t have time or expertise to manage all the different job functions of digital marketing. At Tier4 Healthcare, I got a dedicated Project Manager that took that weight off my shoulders, so I could focus on my bottom line. While the responsive design was a large element of the process, his website also needed to incorporate Social Media, Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and a cohesive business identity. The results? My new website clearly defines my practice to my existing clients, new patients, and the community. I couldn t be happier with the way things turned out. Does your website need help like Dr. Bahl? Take our quick quiz on page 4. Dr. Bahl specializes in dental crowns, veneers and implants. His practice, Excel Dental Studio is located in Merrillville, IN. 2 tier4healthcare.com tier4web.com

Your Website Will be Obsolete in 18 Months! Like most businesses, you probably have a website. You understand that your website is a crucial part of your company s marketing plan. But is your website mobile ready? Is your site optimized to make sure that your customers are finding you at the critical point in the buying decision? Today your website not only needs to be viewable and work correctly on a desktop computer and on various web browsers, it also needs to work for a variety of mobile devices including smart phones and tablets. It needs to have solid search engine optimization (SEO). Sadly, many businesses (39%) have not designed their sites to be responsive to this new technology. If you are one of these businesses, the damage to your bottom line could be devastating. If your site isn t designed to be responsive to mobile technology, your site will be obsolete within the next 18 months! Are you losing business? Consumers are using their mobile devices to find local businesses ranging from doctors and dentists to restaurants and retail shops. If your site isn t designed to be mobile friendly, your competitors will win these potential customers! Consider the following: In 2013 mobile based searches made up 25% of all searches. This number continues to rise and it is estimated that by 2015 mobile internet use will overtake desktop internet. It s estimated that 52% of all local searches are done from a mobile device All these mobile searches are reaping substantial benefits for those businesses that have kept up with the technology. It is estimated that 9 of 10 mobile phone searches results in a purchase or visit! On the other hand, if your site isn t responsive, 46% of consumers will not return to a site that doesn t work properly and 57% of mobile users say they won t recommend a business whose mobile site isn t working correctly. 61% of people have a better opinion of brands when they offer a good mobile experience. 57% of mobile users say they won t recommend a business whose mobile site isn t working correctly. 41% have turned to a competitor s site after a bad mobile experience 30% of mobile shoppers abandon a transaction if the experience is not optimized for mobile. Sites need to be created to be responsive, so that they are not just viewable, but work correctly no matter where your clients are viewing them. Your web site needs to have easy reading and navigation with a minimum of resizing, panning, and scrolling. This fluidity is accomplished by designing a site that adapts the layout to the viewing environment by using fluid, proportion-based grids, flexible images, and CSS3 media queries. Not having a mobile optimized site is like closing your business for one day a week! 74% of users will wait only 3 seconds for a site to load on their mobile device before abandoning the site Can your customers find you? Just as important as the ability for your customers to view your site is the possibility that they will find it to begin with! If you haven t invested in Search Engine Optimization, chances are that they cant! SEO is an essential tool to bring more traffic to your tier4healthcare.com tier4web.com 3
