Progression Pathways Is FE more suitable for students who want to go to Poly? No, FE prepares students well for post-secondary education whether in the JCs or Polytechnics. Will students who offered FE be awarded credit exemption by the Polys? Students who have taken FE will be exempted from certain relevant module(s) depending on the courses offered by the polytechnic. 10/10/13 14
Progression Pathways Is FE recognised for JC/Poly admission? Yes, similar to the regular O-Level subjects, FE will be reflected in the Singapore-Cambridge O-level Certificate. It is recognised as a R4/R5 subject in the computation of L1R5 for admission to JCs, and as a B2/R2 for admission to polytechnics. 10/10/13 15
