Be a resident of Idaho. 2. Be a graduating senior of a Canyon/Owyhee County high school. 3. Have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher (4.0 system). 4. Have demonstrated some public service, participated in extracurricular activities or have worked outside of school. 5. Identify a professional/technical program of interest. Award selection will be based in part on your identified professional-technical program. 6. Attend the first semester of Tech/Trade School following high school graduation at an approved technical school in the USA or other school approved by your counselor. Instructions: Complete the application; either typed or legibly print all requested information. Copy of High School Transcripts showing your classes and grades from grade 9 through grade 12 that are currently on file. Sign statement that you will comply with terms of the award. Two letters of recommendation are required from people who are not related to you yet know your interests, achievements, and potential for success in a post high school technical trade program. Attach an essay of not more than 500 words sharing information about yourself, your professional/technical interests, and your plans for the future.
