WINZ Modification Grant Provide financial assistance to disabled people to help them gain or retain open employment, by removing barriers. Depends on requirements. Disabled persons may get a Modification Grant if they have a disability that s likely to last at least six months, the modification will help them stay in work or get work, they don t get weekly payments from ACC and they are a New Zealand citizen or permanent resident.
