Two galley units are installed in the passenger cabin, one in the forward entry / Door 1 Area (G1 galley); and one in the AFT Door Area (G5 galley). A buffet with integrated fridge is installed in the aft area LH side of the AFT Lounge. The aircraft is equipped with two lavatories, a standard Lavatory A and an enlarged Lavatory D. The lavatory housing consists of a watertight floor tray, side wall panels and a rigid door. The door is lockable and opens outwards. The Multi-channel SATCOM system provides continuous worldwide voice and data communications (other than in Polar regions) from and to the aircraft via satellites in geostationary orbits through 6 channels, using the AEROCOM 3000 Cabin Telephone Unit (CTU) as an interface between the baseband equipment (corded handsets) and the SATCOM Receiver/Transmitter (SRT). The recently upgraded Passenger Entertainment System (PES) with four Compact Disc (CD) players with changer 10 disks located in the VCC and four Digital Versatile Disc (DVD) players located in the VCC and one local DVD player in the Bedroom as source components routes video signal to the following monitors: - One 8.4 monitor is installed in the Crew Rest Area, - One 15 monitor is installed in the Crew Rest Area in front of the seat, - Three 20 monitors are installed in the aircraft cabin, one in the FWD Lounge, one in the Bedroom and one in the AFT Lounge, and - Two 42 monitors are installed in the FWD and AFT Lounges. INTERIOR Universal remote controls are installed in the FWD Lounge, Bedroom and AFT Lounge. For Audio Broadcasting, Hi-Fi loudspeakers are installed in the FWD Lounge ceiling, Bedroom ceiling or partition and AFT Lounge ceiling. Headsets with active background noise reduction are installed near each seats. In 2011, the cabin interior was completely refurbished, including: - Replacement of the Crew seat in the FWD galley G1 by a storage cabinet with drawer compartment and standard size AEROLUX fridge, - Re-Upholstering all single & double armchairs, two- and three-seat divans in FWD & Aft Lounge and AFT Crew Area, including Replacement of seat belt webbing, - Re-upholstering ceiling & valance panels, side ledges in FWD & Aft Lounge, plus Hallway - Re-varnished all wood veneer, - Replacement of existing carpet and underlayer in the FWD Lounge, Bedroom, Hallway and Aft Lounge, - Replacement of shade fabric, inner & outer panes of the existing window shades, and - Replating of all metal part as per designer specifications FWD Lounge / Executive Seating The FWD Lounge is equipped with swivel armchairs (single VIP type seats), located at the forward left side and aft right side of the compartment here and there of the desk. Additionally, a two-seats divan is installed at the forward left side of the compartment, plus a five-seats divan at the aft right side of the compartment. All 11 seats of the divans & armchairs are certified to be used during take off or landing, except the lateral seat with foldable backrest, being part of the five-seats divan. Stowage compartments with access flaps are integrated in the lower divan portions adequate for stowing bed linen and pillows. The stowage surfaces are made of wood veneer with inlays, metal plated and leather and the divan cushions are made of high quality textile. Two foldable leaf desks with fixed height are installed between the single armchairs of the FWD Lounge on the left side and the right side, and two small floor mounted high/low tables are located near the five-seats divan. These tables are fixed to the floor by seat tracks and hard points and they are adjustable in height. Four foldable leafs are installed on each table to allow the surface adjustment. The desks and Each table is made of wood veneer with inlays, leather, metal plated ledges and accessories. Specifications are subject to verification upon inspection.
Bedroom / Bathroom A comfortable bed with a surface of at 2 m x 1.6 m (78.74 in x 62.99 in) is installed in the Bedroom. A drawer type stowage is installed below the bed. A bench is located at the aft area of the bedroom. The Bathroom is equipped with two coat stowages, waste, roll dispenser, general and special illumination (ceiling light, spot light, mirror light and night light), a large decorative mirror, an enlarged washstand with metal plated sink, decorative taps, large mirror and handrail, a cylindrical shower with decorative accessories connected to the potable and waste water systems and a toilet equipped with a hygienic shower and a flexible spray head with cold/warm water supply. Aft Lounge / Conference Dining Room The Aft Lounge is equipped with single and double swivel armchairs (VIP type seats), located at the forward left side and aft right side of the compartment here and there of the desk. A two-seats and a three-seat divan are installed at the aft left side, respectively forward right side of the compartment. Both divans, plus all the armchairs (11 seats in total) are certified to be used during take off and landing. A foldable leaf desk is installed between the single armchairs at the left side and it is a fixed height desk with a smooth and wood veneer work surface. At the right side, a foldable leaf table which can be electrically adjusted in height and equipped with foldable leafs, is installed between the double armchairs. The table is made of wood veneer, leather and bronze plated metal parts. Specifications are subject to verification upon inspection.
