ENTREPRENEURPR.CA 3 Overview of the Academy The Entrepreneurial Academy is an incorporated non-profit organization whose mandate is to operate all programming and services of the ecolarose Center. The Academy will provide the relaxed but active atmosphere that is essential to creative thinking and will incorporate ecological values within entrepreneurial programming.
4 PRESCOTT AND RUSSELL ENTREPRENEURIAL ACADEMY Vision of the Academy The Entrepreneurial Academy will be the primary catalyst in moving forward with innovative transformation of existing businesses in all economics sectors. The vision of the Academy is to be the entrepreneurial hub to motivate and support existing individual businesses, industries and community organizations in realizing new opportunities and to forge innovative economic clusters. Rationale for the Academy The vision of the Economic Development Plan for the United Counties of Prescott and Russell, completed in 2011, sees the emergence of new opportunities based on convergence, creativity and talent of the traditional and evolving industry sectors. Such convergences will occur through the formation of economic clusters, notably: Bio economy, alternative and green industries, Food processing and transportation, Logistics and distribution, Agri, eco and culinary tourism.

ENTREPRENEURPR.CA 7 Role of the Academy 1. Develop and deliver all levels of entrepreneurial, corporate and educational programs and services. 2. Provide management and administration of the ecolarose Centre, inclusive of a central booking and scheduling system for meeting rooms and cabins. 3. Entrepreneurship Relevant best practices; Specialty competencies; Series of guest lectures by invited CEO S. 2. Education and Corporate Meetings Day or multi-day eco-camp for students from Grade 7 to 12; Events links to curriculum; Teacher Tours for Secondary School teachers to introduce them to particular industries; Day or multi-day courses linked to special skills, such as GIS, Geometrics, Administration, Marketing and much more; Single or multi-day meetings and trainings booked by corporation, agencies, municipalities and governments. 3. Tourism Members of the public inclusive of trail groups that use Larose Forest who want to book a cabin for recreation or tourism; Clients that want to use the setting of Larose Forest and the facilities of the ecolarose for private functions, such as wedding and family reunions; Tourism and culinary programs offered by the Academy that relate to regional economic development.
