1 Introduction This guide explains how to install Netop Mobile for Android. In order to deploy and configure the Android Host on a device you need to go through the following steps: 1. Install the Netop Mobile Host Manager on a desktop computer. 2. Install the Android Host on the device. 3. Configure the Android Host from the Netop Mobile Host Manager. 2
You can download the Netop Mobile installation files from Netop based on the required operating system and processor. Remote Control, file transfer, chat and inventory Samsung devices (Android 4.0 or later) Sony devices from Xperia S onward (Android 2.3 or later) LG devices (Android 2.3 or later) Screen transfer, file transfer, chat and inventory Other devices running Android 2.3 or later. For screen transfer, Android version should be 5.0 or above. Communications WebConnect, TCP/IP and UDP. 2.1 Deploy application on the mobile device You can deploy the Android Host application on a mobile device by following one of the following procedures: Downloading from Google Play Using the Netop Mobile Host Manager Copying the file from a desktop computer Downloading from the web server 2.1.1 From Google Play 1. On the mobile device open Samsung Apps by tapping the 2. Search for Netop Mobile for Android using icon.. 3. Click Install. For installation steps, see Install application on the mobile device. 2.1.2 Using the Netop Mobile Host Manager To deploy the Android Host on a mobile device using Netop Mobile Host Manager: 1. On the Android device go to Settings > Developer Options > Debugging and make sure the USB debugging option is checked. 2. On the Android device go to Settings > Security and make sure the Unknown Sources is checked. 3
3. Download the Netop Mobile Host Manager files to a desktop computer directory. 4. Double-click setup.exe to start the installation wizard: 5. Connect the mobile device physically to the desktop computer. 6. Click Next and the License Agreement window displays. 7. Read the license agreement and click I accept to the terms of the License Agreement. 8. Click Next and the Installation Folder window displays: This window suggests installing to the C:\Program Files\Netop\Netop Mobile Host directory. Click Change to display the Windows Select Folder window to optionally specify another destination directory. 4
9. Click Next and the Confirm Installation window displays: This window will display your selections. Click Next to execute the installation of Netop Mobile Host Manager and the mobile device installation files on the desktop computer. If the following warning message displays, either install the Android Host by copying the file from a desktop computer or by downloading from Google Play or by downloading from the web server. 10. Click Finish to finish the desktop computer installation. 2.1.3 Copying the file from a desktop computer To deploy the Android Host from a desktop computer on a mobile device: 1. On the Android device go to Settings > Security and make sure the Unknown Sources is checked. 2. Connect to the device physically to the desktop computer. 3. Using windows explorer, copy the.apk file to one of the folders on the Android device. 4. On the mobile device go to the same location where you stored the apk file by opening 5
the file explorer and tap to install. For installation steps, see Install application on the mobile device. 2.1.4 Downloading from the web server To deploy the Android Host from the web sever on a mobile device: 1. On the mobile device open the browser and type the following URL: www.netop.com/getandroid 2. Go to the Downloads area and tap the application to install it. For installation steps, see Install application on the mobile device. 2.2 Install application on the mobile device Prerequisite: The Samsung devices running Android 4.0 or higher, Sony devices from Xperia S onward running Android 2.3 or later and LG devices running Android 2.3 or later require internet access on first run. To install the Android Host on your mobile device, run through the Installation wizard steps: 1. Tap Next, then tap Install. 6
2. Once the app is installed, tap Open. 3. Specify a Guest authentication password. 7
4. Administrator privileges prompts that WiseMo Host is requesting Superuser access. Note: In order to run remote control you need to Allow remote control. 4. Tap Activate. 5. Select the checkbox to acknowledge that you have read the privacy policy and tap Confirm. 8
6. Insert a valid license key for the application or use the 30-day license trial. The Host service will be running on your Android device. 9

3 Configure and deploy license on multiple devices To set up the Netop Mobile Host identically on multiple mobile devices: 1. On the mobile device, load the Netop Mobile Host to specify the license number. 2. Customize the Netop Mobile Host setup using Netop Mobile Host Manager then go to File > Save to mobile device to apply the configuration to the Android Host. 4 Uninstall Netop Mobile for Android To remove the Netop Mobile for Android from a mobile device, on the Netop Android Host menu bar tap Uninstall. Note: To remove all traces of the installation, manually remove the /storage/sdcard0/ NetopHost directory. 12
