MEGLOBAL BOARD OF DIRECTORS Jehad Nasser Yousif Alhajji: Petrochemical Industries Senior Advisor Jehad Nasser Yousif Alhajji is currently a senior advisor with PIC. Jehad started his career with Kuwait National Petroleum Co. (a sister company of PIC) as a Mechanical Engineer, eventually becoming the Engineering and Maintenance Manager at Mina AlAhmadi Refinery. He joined PIC as Manager of Joint Ventures in 2005. In this role he supported existing joint ventures and pursued strategic growth objectives in petrochemicals. In 2007, Jehad was promoted to Deputy Managing Director Fertilizers, as well as being appointed Chairman of the Board of the Kuwait Olefins Co., and Board Director for Equate Petrochemical Co., and Equate Marketing Co. (EMC). In 2012, Jehad was named Deputy Managing Director Aromatics. He was also appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kuwait Styrene Co. (TKSC), Deputy Chairman of the Board of Directors of The Kuwait Aromatics Co. (TKAC), and a Board Director for Kuwait Paraxylene Production Co. (KPPC). Jehad holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from University of Evansville USA (1981). Abdullah Ahmad Alswailem: Petrochemical Industries Deputy Managing Director Fertilizers Abdullah Alswailem is currently the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) Fertilizers for Petrochemical Industries of Kuwait. Abdullah served as Operation Manager from January 2004 until his appointment as Deputy Managing Director in May 2012. He also was Chairperson for the Process Safety Management (PSM) Committee, as well as served as commissioning Team Leader for the Urea (A) Project in 2002 and for the Urea (B) Granulation Project in 2003. Abdullah joined PIC in December 1990 as a Chemical Process Engineer, and has served in Manufacturing for almost 20 years of process Plant Operations in ammonia, urea and utilities plants. He held a variety of roles leading to a position as Equipolymers Board member Nov. 2004 Mar. 2007. Abdullah was seconded to Equipolymers as a Manufacturing Director from Apr. 2007 Feb. 2010, and became Equipolymers Chief Operating Officer in Mar. 2010. Director Member for the Arab Fertilizers Association from May 2012. Abdullah returned to PIC in May 2012 as DMD- Fertilizers. Abdullah holds a Bachelor s of Chemical Engineering from Washington State University - USA (1990). Luis Antuna: The Dow Chemical Company General Counsel Luis Antuna serves as General Counsel for The Dow Chemical Company in Europe, based in Horgen, Switzerland. Prior to joining MEGlobal, Luis served as legal counsel to Dow Europe, responsible for the Middle East and Africa regions. In addition, he provided legal advice to the Treasury and Plastics groups for Europe, and was the lawyer responsible for European Union law advice. Antuna joined Dow Chemical Iberica as an in-house counsel in 1994, after having worked in the legal departments of other companies in both the USA and Spain. He transferred to Dow Europe in 1998 to work in Horgen, Switzerland, providing legal counsel to several Dow businesses as well as providing antitrust counsel to several projects, including the Dow/Union Carbide Company merger. In 2000, Antuna transferred to the financial law section in Dow's headquarters in Midland, Michigan where he provided legal services to the treasury, mergers & acquisitions, portfolio investments and venture capital groups. Luis is a Spanish citizen and holds a law degree from Malaga University, Spain, together with a European Community Law Masters degree from the College of Europe in Bruges, Belgium. He is a member of the Madrid Bar. Ester Baiget: The Dow Chemical Company Commercial director for Dow Elastomers, Electrical and Telecommunications Ester Baiget is the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) commercial director for Dow Elastomers, Electrical and Telecommunications. She is responsible for managing the commercial organization, end-use marketing and customer relationships for the business portfolio across the region. Baiget joined Dow in 1995 as an engineer for the LLDPE Solution plant in Tarragona, Spain. In 2000, she joined Europe Polyolefins technical service and development (TS&D) and became a Six Sigma Black Belt, handling a variety of developmental projects. In 2003, Baiget moved to Page 2 of 5
the Dow Fibers Solutions group where she established and consolidated the Global Textile Development Center and, in 2006 she became the technical service leader for the Europe/MEAF Plastics, Elastomers and Rubber Customer Technical Support Center, then was named senior TS&D leader for Basic Plastics in 2008. In 2009, Baiget was appointed global director of strategic development, and worked directly with the Dow s office of the Chairman and CEO to support and execute corporate strategy development activities. Following that, she was named global business director for the ethylene oxide/ethylene glycol (EO/EG) business in 2011, later expanding her responsibilities to include championing the EO derivatives envelope. She assumed her current role in 2012. Baiget holds a chemical engineering degree and an MBA from the University of Tarragona (Spain). Kamal Al-Behbehani: Petrochemical Industries Aromatics Marketing Manager Kamal Al-Behbehani is Aromatics Marketing Manager at PIC. He joined PIC in 1981 and has worked in a marketing capacity for multiple products -- caustic soda, fertilizers, polypropylene, and aromatics. In addition, he has contributed to PIC initiatives such as Sustainability, Six Sigma and Enterprise Risk Management. Al-Behbehani was appointed to the Board of Equate and Equipolymers before joining the Board of MEGlobal. Al-Behbehani earned a Bachelor s Degree in Business Administration - Marketing from California State University Sacramento. Mohammad Husain: EQUATE Petrochemical Company President and Chief Executive Officer Prior to joining EQUATE, Mohammad Husain held the position of Deputy Chairman and Deputy Managing Director (Mina Al Ahmadi Refinery) for Kuwait National Petroleum Company, Kuwait. With over 30 years of extensive professional service, Husain held various leading posts, administrative and technical, at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC), Petrochemical Industries and Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC). Kevin Kroll: The Dow Chemical Company Regional Finance Director Kevin Kroll is the Regional Finance Director for EMEA located in Horgen, Switzerland. He assumed this responsibility in January 2012. Kroll began his Dow career in 1988 as a senior staff accountant with Essex Specialty Products in Clifton, New Jersey and moved through Cost and Financial Accounting positions during the ensuing few years. In 1991, he transferred to DowElanco in Indianapolis and worked in global financial consolidations. He later assumed the responsibility as global reporting and planning manager at DowElanco. In 1995 Kroll joined the Value Based Information System (VBIS) development team in Midland, Michigan as a project manager for both the sales and inventory projects. In 1998, he was named Global and North America analyst in the Emulsion Polymers business and in 2001, he was named senior finance manager for Dow Water Solutions. In 2004, he assumed the Finance Director responsibility for Specialty Chemicals. In 2008, Kroll was named Senior Finance Director for Marketing Facing Businesses, Licensing and New Business Development. In 2009, he was named Business Finance Director for the Chemicals and Energy division. Kroll has a bachelor s degree in Accounting from Lynchburg College. He is a Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and successfully completed the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) examination. He also completed the executive education program Leadership in the Global Enterprise at Thunderbird. Raja Zeidan: The Dow Chemical Company Business Vice President of Feedstock & Hydrocarbons Risk Management at Dow Europe GmbH Raja Zeidan is Business Vice President of Feedstock & Hydrocarbons Risk Management at Dow Europe GmbH. Raja joined Dow in 1982 and held various sales and marketing positions in the Middle East organization and worked in Kuwait, Dubai, U.A.E., Saudi Arabia and Dow s Middle East/Africa s headquarter in Geneva before he joined Hydrocarbons in 1987. Since then he has held various positions in Hydrocarbons in London, Calgary and Zurich. Raja was instrumental in establishing the light hydrocarbon base for Dow in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. He was also instrumental in developing the commodity risk management program for Hydrocarbons. Raja has a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering degree Page 4 of 5
from the University of Manchester. He is a member of the board of EQUATE Petrochemical Company KSC and Equipolymers BV. Both ventures are with Petrochemical Industries of Kuwait.
