Testimonials... Greetings: I am attending the University of Pittsburgh, and instead of graduating undergraduate school in 2014, I will be graduating at the end of 2012! All of your great teaching allowed me to attain enough credits for 1.5 years in college. T at Pitt is roughly $27,000 per year (but I got $10,000 in scholarship, so I only pay $17,000). That means all of you teachers saved me $25,500! Below I have broken down my AP tests that I received credit for & how much "per credit hour" money it's worth. I'm sure your incoming students would be interested in some facts.
Human Geography: Scored 5-3 credit hours - $3,432 Psychology: Scored 5-3 credit hours - $3,432 Government: Scored 5-3 credit hours - $3,432 US History: Scored 4-3 credit hours - $3,432 Microeconomics: Scored 4-3 credit hours - $3,432 Calculus BC: Scored 5-8 credit hours - $9,152 Biology: Scored 5-8 credit hours - $9,152 Chemistry: Scored 5-8 credit hours - $9,152 39 hours total (36 is the minimum for 1.5 years) The last advantage I gained from earning so much credit is that I then got an amazing schedule. I only have classes 2 days a week basically. I have class Tuesday/Thursday from 11-4 and then 1 Friday class 10-12. -- Lindsay Brown OHHS '10
