Approved Tax Forms of Software Developers (2015) The following is a list of software developers that are authorized to produce substitute N.C. tax forms. Any software developer that is not on this list is not authorized to produce any forms generated by the North Carolina Department of Revenue. This list also recognizes software developers that have received approval from the Department to produce one or more substitute tax forms. The list is in numerical order according to the ID number of the software developers. Under each developer's name is a list of the substitute tax forms that are produced by that developer and have been approved by the Department. Each substitute tax form produced by a software developer requires a separate approval. It is the responsibility of the software developer to ensure the accuracy of calculations performed by software programs. Any software developer may produce the tax forms available for reproduction listed below. This list will be periodically updated throughout the tax season.
