Quick Facts Summary SAP is offering a certification program for partners that manage customer environments in the cloud or on premise. These certifications are intended to help SAP customers identify bestin-class service providers to meet their quality, scope, and geography requirements. The program is designed for SAP partners that offer outsourcing operations services for SAP solutions and SAP software environments. Quick Facts SAP offers several certifications to cover various business needs. SAP experts will recommend one or more certifications based on your service portfolio. (Please see the figure on the next page.) The available certifications are: Hosting services Operation of SAP applications and offering of hosting packages tailored to the customer s SAP product portfolio (extensive technical SAP administration skills and experience are mandatory) SAP HANA operations services Management of solutions powered by the SAP HANA platform Mobile operations services Delivery of mobile operations services for mobile solutions from SAP Business process outsourcing (BPO) services Delivery of a full complement of BPO services based on SAP business applications Infrastructure operations services Infrastructure services portfolio tailored to SAP customers (no SAP operations services included) Application management services (AMS) Maintenance, daily operations, and ongoing functional support for SAP business applications Cloud services On-demand infrastructure and on-demand services for SAP products The certification process for SAP outsourcing operations partners includes: 1. Formal application for certification 2. Preparation for on-site audit by partner and auditor 3. On-site audit at partner location, followed by an SAP audit report After a successful audit session, SAP issues a certificate to the partner and awards permission to use the appropriate certification logo for two years. A recertification audit is mandatory every two years. 3 / 4
