Split testing with Inxmail Professional for improved click and opening rates Compared with other media, mailings offer the best conditions for efficiently creating different mailing versions and testing them in an automated process. Inxmail Professional 4.4 offers a completely revised split test function for targeted optimisation of your mailings. Test different subject lines and sender addresses in order to obtain higher opening rates. You can get even more clicks by using the multi-variable test, which allows you to test different content for your mailing. Or use the sending time test to find out when your mailings capture the full attention of your readers. Split testing is the simplest way to optimise your mailings. You will gain a long-term understanding of the interests of your recipients by regularly testing the individual characteristics of your mailings. You can carry out the tests using different key figures, and decide for yourself what the decisive criterion for the winning version is. The winning version can be sent automatically or manually. Automatic import of your recipient data The new Import Automation allows you to import your recipient data to Inxmail Professional automatically at regular intervals. You can import the data either to a defined list or to the Global settings (from where the data can be used for all lists). Before you can use the automatic import, you must store the import data as a CSV file on an SFTP server. The data is configured in Inxmail Professional. Import conflicts are taken into account using the familiar import rules at the data import planning stage. Just as for a manual import, you can use special settings for imports. The Import Automation log holds all the important details for the imports. The available filters help you to keep an overview when several imports are taking place. Once the import has ended, it is possible to send a notification to one or more recipients informing them whether or not the import was successful. Fig: Import automation
Inxmail Professional Client Manager Agencies and users with many clients can take advantage of the Inxmail Professional Client Manager from Inxmail Professional 4.4 onwards. This new add-on module enables you to log in just once (single sign-on) in order to gain access to all your available Inxmail clients. It does not matter which version of Inxmail Professional is used on the individual clients. The clients always start with the appropriate version of the email marketing solution thanks to the multi-version capability. The clear login interface provides an overview of all the relevant key figures for the individual clients. If you manage a very large number of clients in the Client Manager, you can restrict the data shown in the view using search and filter functions. This Enterprise function will be activated for all of our ASP users who administer multiple Inxmail Professional clients. Assistance for salutation modules Salutation modules are an important basis for personalising the way you address your recipients. To make it easier to create these salutation modules, the Modules agent in Inxmail Professional 4.4 offers a wizard that gets you to your goal efficiently. With the help of the wizard, you can design your personal salutation module very quickly and continue to use it in all mailings. Reducing pressure from advertising The Target groups agent within Inxmail Professional 4.4 offers new functionality for defining target groups, which you can use to manage the advertising pressure faced by your recipients. It is possible to define, for example, that a recipient who has already received a user-defined number of emails in a particular time period should not receive any further mailings. Automatic client updates Once Inxmail Professional 4.4 has been installed, all future client updates will run automatically when the client is restarted. This means you no longer have to worry about keeping the Inxmail Professional Client up to date.
Inxmail Professional API enables access to the sending history With access to the sending history, you can request the following information: Read access to sendings of all mailing types o Sendings in a particular time period o Last sending of a mailing o Information on individual sendings Direct request for recipient reactions o Has a recipient opened a particular mailing? o Has a particular recipient clicked a link in a particular mailing?
