This technology optimises the exposure for each pixel, showing details in the shadows and highlights. This performance allows every detail to be captured accurately even in the most challenging lighting conditions, making it ideal for high risk applications like retail, business and bank entrances. It is designed for use in a Digiplex system. The KTD-312 features a DTMF input port. It provides an RJ45 connector for the RS232 interface. All other cable connections are made on a removable terminal strip. An RJ45 connection cable, RJ45-to-DB9 adapter and a 110-230 VAC to 12 VDC adapter are included with the unit. When used as a computer interface, the KTD-312 establishes a communication link between a Digiplex CCTV control system and an external computer. This feature enables the computer to monitor alarms, download information and control a variety of Digiplex system devices. These include PTZ domes and receivers, matrix switchers and auxiliary receivers. Components are controlled via seven-character ASCII strings. It allows remote multiplexer view control from the KTD-400 and KTD-404 keypads. It also provides remote VCR control from the KTD-400 keypad. A KTD-93 is required for each multiplexer and VCR in a Digiplex system. The unit receives an RS422 or RS232 input and provides an RS232 or analog output to the remote device. The KTD-93's 12-position DIP switch can be programmed to address many major-brand multiplexers. Up to 25 views can be displayed on one monitor in any of several multi-screen formats, depending on brand. Consult your multiplexer user's guide for details. The KTD-93 may also be programmed to address Sanyo, Sony and Toshiba brand VCRs.
