MOSAIQ External Systems Interfaces (ESI) Product Offerings (Current as of MOSAIQ 2.60) Elekta offers a broad range of external systems interfaces to connect oncology clinician and administrative personnel to the larger medical enterprise and outlying community. The following is an overview of the HL7 clinical data interface offerings. Please see individual specification sheets and the External Systems Interfaces Requirements Specification for more details. Description and Key Features ESI ADT Import Accepts new and updated patient admission, discharge, and transfer (ADT) information from a hospital information system (HIS) or other patient registration system. Includes patient, visit, next of kin, allergy, diagnosis, insurance, and guarantor information. ESI Lab Result Import Accepts clinical laboratory results and text from a laboratory information system (LIS) for display as unreviewed results on the MOSAIQ flowsheet. System Requirements A workstation with networked connectivity to the MOSAIQ server and dedicated to Elekta interface management is necessary. For support purposes, the PC must have internet access for web conference connectivity. Refer to the latest version of the MOSAIQ System Requirements (LSR9001) for hardware and software specification details. Licensing ESI products are licensed by unit (e.g. one interface is required for each receiving system). Installation, Training & Support ESI products are installed remotely by an implementation specialist. Configuration and testing is coordinated between Elekta and the customer. Data mapping requirements will be coordinated between the customer information systems representative, an Elekta implementation specialist, and the external system vendor.
