Indicators Prior to placing a trade, indicators can be utilised to determine the future price direction through the analysis of past patterns. Similarly to MetaTrader 4, the mobile application includes a vast number of indicators to assist clients, whilst also allowing for custom indicators to be created and imported. By tapping the indicator icon within the menu bar, you will be directed to a pop up box from where all indicators can be managed across the available windows. As the instructions suggest, indicators can be added by simply clicking on the plus button in the left hand corner. In the Indictor window, tap on the + and the list of preinstalled Indicators will open. Again, tap on the indicator you like to use, set the parameters and confirm with Done in the upper right corner. Figure 9 - Indicator Window This is where you can place or remove indicators from the chart itself. The Main Window area of the page relates to the actual price movement section of the chart. Indicator Window 1 and 2 are simply indicator areas where you can place indicators that do not depend on price values for their data. For instance, Bollinger Bands would show in the main window, while a relative strength indicator would show in one of the supplemental windows. Add an indicator to any of these areas by tapping the blue + to the left of the area s description. Trade Terminal The Terminal is an interactive window, providing access to a range of account features, notably account and trading history. The Terminal Window includes the following Tabs: Trade displays open positions, pending orders, account balance, and free margin History list of all executed trades, view profit and loss, credits, volume, etc. Mailbox displays all electronic messages that have been sent to MetaTrader 4 by DMM FX News provides accessed to any news releases and essentially is a shortcut to news section on DMM FX s home page. Journal Display of system messages relating to your account, including log in status and orders placed, modified or closed. Placing a Trade Prior to placing a trade, investors should monitor the price limits to determine the best point at which to enter the market. You can use the Market Watch window to monitor real-time bid and ask prices. It is also suggested traders use the indicators provided within WebTrader in order to ensure confidence in the position taken. An additional feature that can be utilised prior to a detailed analysis is that of the data window for a specific currency pair. The window itself provides a brief outline of the selected currency pair, identifying the high/low spread as well as the opening and closing prices of the pair for the selected period. To change the period being analysed, select the periodicity required. 6 P a g e

Instant Orders You can trade by placing an Instant Order using any of the following options (all will present in the same order window): Selecting New Order from the market window. Selecting the + icon within the terminal window In order to place a trade, clients are required to fill in a New Market Order form requesting the following details: a) Symbol Select the financial pairing you wish to trade. b) Position Select the position you wish to take regarding the CFD (Buy or Sell). c) Size - The quantity that is to be traded. Please note that the derived quantity is in units, of which a standard unit is equal to $100,000 currency units (0.1 equals 10,000 units). Figure 10 - New Order Window Once clients are satisfied with their order form, a position can be entered into by selecting to enter the position by market, from where a confirmation of the order success is visible at the top of the new order window. Additionally, the order will be recorded under the positions tab within the trade terminal, where the order can be monitored and eventually closed. Pending Orders A pending order allows you to set a price at which you wish to be entered into a position. There is an option to set an Expiry date at which the order is cancelled if the position is not met. This can be left undefined and the order would remain open until the order is activated or cancelled by you. There are four types of pending orders that can be placed through DMM FX: Buy Limit Buy order is placed at a specific ask price where the price is set below the current market price Sell Limit Sell order is place at a specific bid price where the price is set above the current market price Buy Stop Buy order is placed at a specific ask price where the price is set above the current market price Sell Stop Sell Order is placed at a specific bid price where the price is set below the current market price. Doing so will open a screen from which clients can proceed to modify the order. As can be seen on the right, orders can only be modified to incorporate a stop loss and take profit, however closing orders partially can only be performed from the initial trade window. A modification can be confirmed when the trade has adopts a yellow background within the trade window. By tapping the order, details of new limits will be in place for customer to assess and potentially modify again. 7 P a g e

Closing an Order When closing an order, clients will again need to proceed to the trade window and identify which method of closing they would like to instil. Clients will again need to proceed to hold down the order they wish to close until they receive the menu to close the order as can be seen on the right. Evidently, there are two options available to the trader: Partially closing an order - Clients can partially close an order by holding down the specific order and proceeding to input the volume they wish to close. By closing an aspect of the order, the profit or loss for that amount is realised and the remaining part of the order remains open. Closing an Entire order - Clients will need to proceed to close the entire order to exit a position. The order can be closed by proceeding to the trade summary and pressing close at the bottom of the screen as can be shown on the right. In both instances, closing the order will ultimately provide a confirmation window, whereby proceeding will return traders back to the initial trade window to open any further positions if required.
