Prebiotics, Probiotics and Symbiotics The use of prebiotics, probiotics and their combination - the symbiotics could substantially modify our organic micro environment and contribute to health. The clinical therapy of Pre, Pro and Symbiotics is associated with significant improvement of various diseases in children, adult and aged people. Objective: Disseminate the applicability of Pre, Pro and Symbiotics in health maintenance and prevention and treatment of diseases.
Welcome Message A diverse population of microorganisms inhabit our skin, mouth, nose, lungs and gut and establishes a strong inter-relationship with us. The metabolic function of the intestinal microbiota origins from its high number of genes - microbioma - that can exceeds our genetic ability coding in 150 times. This microbiota plays an important role in maintaining health and when disturbed can promote the development of chronic degenerative inflammatory disease states. The II Brazilian Congress of Prebiotics, Probiotics and Symbiotics (Preprosim) intends to discuss the latest advances, implications and perspectives on the knowledge of human microbiota in health and disease. International and national experts of high reputation will be meeting in Sao Paulo for two days to discuss the theme: "Healthy Microbiota, Healthy Life." For us it will be a joy to have your participation in the II PreProSim and Ganepao 2015. See you there! Dan L. Waitzberg Chairman
