Netwerkkabel & glasvezel Optical Fibre Maximum lengte : tot 550 m (Multimode), SingleMode : Tot 70Km Prijzen dalen Lichtgewicht Late demping (beste bij single mode) Volledige immuniteit ten aanzien van de omgeving 1. Core 2. Cladding 3. Buffer 4. Jacket Ondersteunt hoge bandbreedtes Ondersteunt hoge doorvoersnelheden min-punten : fragile, verbindingen, moeilijk the servicen. Troubleshooting vereist specifice tools. Luminex highly recommend military grade fibre.

GigaCore Switch Connect the computer to the switch Factory reset of the unit if the unit is already set with an unknown IP address Set the IP address of the computer in the same range as the labelled at the rear of the unit Click on the group page, select the ISL group, assign your ISL ports Select your groups and assign ports to it. Set a name on your groups Repeat the operation on all other switches. Mind this can be done with all switches connected to the network. You re done Generic IT switch Connect the computer to the switch Factory reset of the unit if the unit is already set with an unknown IP address Open the manual and find the default IP address. If there is no manual, you need to download the manual first. Set the IP address on the switch Click on the RSTP setting page, and set the rapid spanning tree settings manually. Mind that automatic mode won t always be the best settings for you. Especially when using Multicast filtering. Click on the VLAN page, and create your VLAN database Activate MVRP protocol for VLAN database propagation Assign port to your VLANs - You need to set the right tagging policy! Use the right tagging policy for your inter-switch links. Click on IGMP snooping page. Activate IGMP snooping for the dedicated VLANs Select the switch to be the querier for your network and Multicast traffic. Click on QoS page. Find the right setting for any of your protocols!!
