EU DMF Directive Declaration European Directive 2009/251/CE prohibits and restricts the placing or making available on the European market products containing Dimethylfumarate ( DMF ) and the use of DMF as a biocide in transportation. Please note, that we are not performing any special tests or analysis regarding DMF. Veritas confirms that to the best of its knowledge all the products and packing materials as supplied from our Company do not contain DMF in the product and does not have in the Veritas packaging any anti-mould bags which contain DMF as a biocide. EU WEEE: Products are marked with this symbol to show that they were produced after 13th August 2005, and should be disposed of separately from normal domestic / commercial waste so that they can be recycled This product should not be disposed of with domestic / commercial waste. It should be deposited at an appropriate facility to enable recovery and recycling. o Much of the WEEE ends up in landfill, where the lead and other toxins it contains can cause soil and water contamination. This can have a harmful effect on natural habitat, wildlife and also human health. o Many electrical items that we throw away can be repaired or recycled. Recycling items helps to save our natural finite resources and also reduces the environmental and health risks associated with sending electrical goods to landfill. Our product complies with European Directive 2002/96/EC, on waste electrical and electronic equipment. EU Packaging Directive Declaration No CFCs (chlorofluorocarbons), HCFCs (hydrofluorocarbons) or other ozone depleting substances are used in packaging material.
