1. INTRODUCTION AT&T Connect is an application architecture solution that allows end-users to participate in conferences using their PC, Mac, phone and mobile devices to create multiple participant conferences over the Web that include data, voice and video sharing. This document describes the main system components, the hardware and software requirements of AT&T Connect, and the capacity of each of these components. AT&T Connect Front-End Applications The AT&T Connect front-end is comprised of the following components: AT&T Connect Participant Application: An end-user application running on the MS Windows. The Participant Application enables users to share voice, data, video, and to view conference participants. AT&T Connect Participant Application for Mac: An end-user application running on Mac native client environments. The Participant Application enables users to share voice, data and to view conference participants. AT&T Connect Web Participant Application: An end-user Web-based application supported by most common Internet browsers. The Web Participant enables users to host and participate in web conferences. AT&T Connect mobile applications: End-user applications running on iphone/ipad, Android and BlackBerry. The mobile applications enable users to view the list of participants, shared content and interact with the conference. AT&T Connect Recording Converter: An end-user utility for converting AT&T Connect recordings (VCM or VCR) to a standard format. AT&T Connect add-in applications (Microsoft Outlook Add-ins, Microsoft Office Communicator Add-in): End-user applications that enable users to schedule and enter AT&T Connect conferences directly through other applications. 2. AT&T CONNECT SOFTWARE COMPONENT AVAILABILITY Version 9.5 does not include a software release of all AT&T Connect software components. Some components that have not been modified since the last software release are not part of the released components. Table 1 lists the available components for version 9.5 release. Note: The Add-in for Microsoft Outlook is no longer supported for use on the Microsoft Vista 64 bit operating system. Add-in for Outlook 2007/2010 Table 6 summarizes the requirements for desktop computers running the AT&T Conferencing addin for Microsoft Outlook 2007/2010.
