2 Ignition Programme Opportunity To achieve cri+cal mass for financing Available Funds co-invested by FINOVA and managed by Portugal Ventures (~ 20 M ) Recurrent Annual funding ~20 M Ecosystem weaknesses Fragmentation and difficulty accessing seed capital to finance the innovation and stimulation of tech-based startups. Ignition Programme Launch to facilitate the access of innovative tech based projects to seed capital. Deal flow Process Expedite and organise the deal flow process of projects in the proof of concept, seed and early-stage phases.

5 The Call For Entrepreneurship initiative focuses on financing tech-based projects which have global potential ICT, Electronics & WEB (Information and Communications Target Sectors Technology, Electronics and Social Web concepts); Life Sciences (Biotechnology, new technologies, products and services for medical assistance, monitoring and alert, devices and equipment); Endogenous Resources (Energy, Agri-food sectors, from the Forest and from the Ocean), Nanotechnology and Materials Travel & Leisure Tech (Innovative support or services and/or products complementary to the traditional tourism offer). Project Product-oriented (tradable goods and services) Based on proprietary R&D and technologies that are benchmarked internationally Innovative and differentiated at global scale Positioned in global value chains Significant global market potential Implemented with available resources Represent an original idea from the Founders

The Call For Entrepreneurship focuses on financing projects in the following stages of their life cycle 6 Stage of the Projects Pre-Seed stage projects: should have a working prototype completed, that allows us to validate the practical application of the technology and/or business idea, and should have potential customers with a confirmed interest, even if the company has not yet made any sales. Seed stage projects: should have some customers using its products, and are seeking funding to expand operations. Venture stage projects (Startup and Growth): should have an established product range and client base and are looking for incremental capital to expand into new geographies or product ranges.
