Background A study made by the Confederation of Swedish Enterprise (Svenskt Näringsliv) show that the some main obstacles for a private person to become self-employed are: Not enough funding Not enough time Not enough knowledge of current taxation laws Fear of to much bureaucracy and legal issues Fear of losing an already stable income 1 For these reasons, and more, IBSP was founded with its main intention to relieve and assist anyone who wants to start a business as well as already established businesses to operate more efficiently on an international as well as national level. The main effort when developing this unique tool has been put into security to ensure that the IBSP customers businesses are protected with the most sophisticated and up-to-date development techniques. By registering and logging on to the Online Multilateral Trading Facility anyone can do International Business without the bureaucracy of knowing how to run a new business. 4. The four alternatives of joining IBSP There are four main alternatives of joining IBSP. These alternatives can be combined with each other. 4.1 As a Customer Anyone (Customers, Sales Agent and Companies) can at anytime buy the products and services that are available at IBSP. 4.2 As a self employed Sales Agent Anyone (Private Person with self-employed company or SME Company) can apply to IBSP to become a Sales Agent of the available products and services offered by the IBSP e-shop. An approved Sales Agent is allowed to sell the products and services that IBSP carries assuming that the Company that handles the products/services so allows. All products and Companies selling products on the IBSP e-shop has to be approved by the IBSP administration before the products are available for trade. 4.3 To start new Business within IBSP IBSP can be used by a Private Person who wants to do business without the obstacles of starting a company and act as an employee with IBSP. Employees selling products on the IBSP e-shop has to be approved and employed (with signed employment agreement) by the IBSP administration before the products are available for trade.
