Biography of Guest Speacker Rev. Frenchettia C. Payne was born in Washington, DC; however, she currently resides in Upper Marlboro, MD. Rev. Payne received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Morgan State University, a Master of Arts Degree in Administrative Management from Bowie State University, and a Master of Divinity Degree from Maple Springs Baptist Bible College and Seminary. Rev. Payne, is an ordained minister of the gospel. She was ordained by Reverends Johnny and Sharon Burns at New Life Christian Fellowship, Inc. in Ledyard, Connecticut and they have released her to fulfill kingdom purpose in the Washington- Metropolitan Area. Her ministerial gifts have been enlightened and complemented by serving in numerous capacities: Women s Day Chairperson, Discipled in Church Leadership, Healing and Deliverance and Leadership Ministry in Pittsburgh, Executive Director for Christian Wholeness Women s Ministry, member of E.C. Reems Women s International Ministries (D.C. Chapter), Consultant to Women of Destiny and Faith International Network, Inc., Cell Pastor for Small Groups, Youth Minister and Chief Episcopal Adjutant having been trained at the Adjutant s Academy at The Joint College of Bishop s Congress in Ohio. Rev. Payne has a heart for outreach, women and youth. She loves volunteering her time to help others in the community and in the church. She has been the recipient of many eminent awards locally and nationally for her community efforts which include Outstanding Young Women of America, One & Only Nine Award, Washingtonian of the Year, Prince George s County Volunteer of the Year, Baxter Healthcare s Helping Hand Award and NBC s Living Well with Cancer Public Broadcast. 4
Rev. Payne is a member of the Prince George s County Alumnae Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated where she recently served as Chaplain, a member of the Eastern Region Chaplain s Council and one of the assistant Eastern Region Chaplains. She currently serves as the Chaplain for Delegate Carolyn J.B. Howard- 24 th Legislative District and has served on the Board of Directors for Chris4Life, a Colon Cancer Foundation and The Bonnie Johns Children s Fund. Rev. Payne has been employed with Baxter Healthcare Corporation for the past twenty-seven years. She is celebrating fourteen years as a colon cancer survivor. Her voice is heard often in the Washington Metropolitan Area quoting, Get a Colonoscopy. It saved my life and it could save yours as well. Her favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11, For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. (NIV) Biography of Soloist Dannelle T. Grayson grew up in church and started singing at the age of 6 years old. She became the Youth choir director at age 14 and helped produce Easter and Christmas cantata s at her home church for more than 10 years. When time permits, she sings with her two sisters, and enjoys the harmony that they produce as His Daughters. Danni is currently a member of Reid Temple (North Campus), where she enjoys worshiping in song on the Praise and Worship Team and Adoration Choir. God is the joy and the strength of her life and she strives to please Him in song! 5
