All physician office staff can request to be granted read-only access to the electronic medical record system (Soarian Clinicals) that Baptist Health utilizes. This allows for up-to-date clinical information about a patient s status. Simply call the IT-PAHL Physician support line at 786-662-7879 or contact us by email. You'll be asked to complete a form that authorizes you to view patient medical records and then provided a secure password. Requests for access will be followed up on within two business days; however it can take up to a week for the access to be available. If you need immediate assistance, call the phone number listed and our staff will assist you. Soarian Clinicals offers key electronic health record capabilities that connect the care team with patient data to improve patient care management. The office staff will have access to this webbased application via a tokenless Multi-factor remote access method that is secure and reliable for the office staff to use. The portal offers real-time information about any interactions your patient has with our medical staff, including clinical notes and lab results at Homestead Hospital. Other information available through this web-based tool includes: Demographics Imaging results Not only does this give the physician office staff consistent access to the information, it can help to improve the quality and continuity of care experienced by your patient. 1 Before You Begin Please ensure you have already configured your Multi Factor Remote Access and also have the latest Citrix Plug-in installed in your computer. For assistance with MFA or Citrix Plug-in refer to the Citrix Installation Guide and Multi Factor Remote Access Guides found on www.baptisthealth.net/physicians. 2: Logging into Soarian Clinicals To begin logging into Soarian click on the Soarian Clinicals Icon displayed on the left hand side of the portal. The first time you log into Soarian, you will be prompted to enter your Soarian User Name and Password Note: Your Soarian User Name and Password is the same as your AD credentials Page 5 of 25
3: Selecting your Hospital Location You will need to select the hospital where you want to view. In the upper left hand corner of the screen, you will see your name. Note: Follow the notes on the left of the image below to ensure you select your correct hospital. Page 6 of 25

8: How to View Clinical Notes and Imaging results After you search for a patient, select your patient and click on the arrow in PATIENT RECORD at the bottom of the screen. Then click on Patient Record option. The screen will change and a drop down menu bar will appear at the left side of the screen. Page 21 of 25
Click on the drop down arrow at the left of the screen and you can view several options that include the clinical notes, imaging reports, and other options for the patient. To print a clinical note click on the icon that looks like a paper/document that is located near the study name. A Print dialog box will appear and ensure that it states Local Printer in the Route To field at the top left. From that dialog box you can click on the Print Preview Icon. Then you can click on the print icon and select your printer. To print any documents from Soarian ensure that your printer is set as a default before you log into Soarian Clinicals. Page 22 of 25
When you click on Clinical notes you can click on the picture of the face and the Sovera image will load. You are welcome to print the document by clicking on the printer icon at the top of the page on the left side. Page 23 of 25
9: Viewing Patient Demographics After you search for your patient make sure to select the Patient Record option at the bottom of the box. Once the screen changes click on the VISIT Tab found on top of the screen. The screen should show the name of the patient at the top of the list on the left side of the screen. Click on the patient s name and the patient demographics will display. The tabs under the patient name shows the information found for that current visit such as attending physician, etc. Page 24 of 25
10: Logging Off At the top right of the screen click on LOG OFF and you will be securely logged out of Soarian. Page 25 of 25
