Accelerated Death Benefit Rider The Accelerated Death Benefit Rider allows the policyowner to receive a 50% advance on the death benefit if the insured is diagnosed by a physician as having a terminal condition which is expected to result in death within twelve months. Issue Ages: same as base policy (all ages) Coverage remains in force as long as the policy remains in force. Available with Classic I Full Benefit policy at time of issue. May be added to Classic II policy after the graded benefit period. There is no additional premium charge for this rider. If an accelerated benefit payment is made, a $250 administrative fee is deducted from the payment. Lien interest will be charged on the accelerated benefit amount. Receipt of accelerated benefit may affect eligibility for public assistance programs and may be taxable.

Accidental Death Benefit Rider The Accidental Death Benefit Rider doubles the death benefit for death due to accident (double indemnity). Issue Ages: 25-65 Coverage remains in force until the first policy anniversary on or after the insured s 70 th birthday. Available with Classic I Full Benefit policy only.

Children s Term Rider The Children s Term Rider provides individual term coverage on a child, grandchild or great grandchild of the insured. Issue Ages: Base Insured 25-85 Child 15 days through 18 years (less than 19) Issue Amounts: $2,500 - $10,000 (not to exceed base policy amount) Maximum Number of Riders: 20 Coverage remains in force until the first policy anniversary on or after the Insured Child s 25 th birthday or until conversion of rider coverage. Available with Classic I and Classic II.

Waiver of Premium Disability Rider The Waiver of Premium Disability Rider waives premium payments after six full months of total and continuous disability. Issue Ages: 25-55 Coverage remains in force until the first policy anniversary on or after the insured s 65 th birthday. If disability occurs prior to the insured s age 60, premiums will continue to be waived as long as the insured remains disabled. If the insured becomes disabled between the ages of 60-65, the waiver benefit ceases at age 65. Available with Classic I Full Benefit policy only.

Nursing Home Waiver of Premium Rider The Nursing Home Waiver of Premium Disability Rider waives premium payments after 90 days of continuous confinement in a qualified nursing home. Premiums must be paid during the 90-day waiting period. Issue Ages: 56-85 Coverage remains in force as long as the policy remains in force. Available with Classic I Full Benefit policy only.

Important Reminder A telephone inspection is required at the point of sale for Classic I applications. Completing the interview before leaving the applicant s home provides benefits to you and your client. Calling at the point of sale: Helps to reaffirm the relationship with the applicant. Helps to reduce the number of policies declined, issued other than as applied for, or not taken. Eliminates the risk of having the applicant fail to complete the interview after the sale. Reduces underwriting turnaround time.
