SUPPORT MATERALS AND GUDANCE Student nstructional Materials 882 TRG Welcome and Orientation Binder Audiovisual Aids A/V Presentation, Welcome and Orientation Training Methods Lecture/Discussion (1 hrs) nstructional Guidance Students will be provided information regarding the chain of command, evaluation procedures, counseling and assistance, SA, class leader, absence from class, class and break schedules, personal appearance, and feedback. Briefly introduce the subject areas to be covered in the orientation and assign the group handouts for reading outside of the classroom. Direct female students to read and sign "Memorandum for Fetal Protection from Chemical Hazards" in conjunction with 882 TRG Handout 7, Safety in the Training Environment. Have students sign Sheppard AFB Form 302, Test Compromise-Student, after they have been briefed on the group policy regarding cheating and test compromise. Point out AETC VA 36-6, Points of Contact for Students and Trainees. Ensure all TDY Air Force students have processed into the 382 TRS CSS, all TDY Army students have processed into the F Company, and all TDY Navy students have processed into the Naval Detachment Administration Office. Collect completed background data sheets. Check the students against the class roster. f a student's name is listed and the student is missing, attempt to locate the student or determine the student's status. All no shows should be reported to the respective program director. f you have student(s) in class that are not on the class roster, determine if the student is in the correct location and, if so, enter student data in the Technical Training Management System (TTMS) and place them in ETE status within 24 hours. Stress current course administrative structure and course/school policies and explain the film badge process and usage procedures to students. Point out facilities to students including the latrines, break area, instructors' offices, tornado shelters, and the fire evacuation route. ntegrate job-oriented safety (See applicable Air Force Occupational Safety and Health (AFOSH) standards), and environmental issues including pollution prevention awareness. Explain to the students the role played by each entity and how they apply to biomedical equipment maintenance management. Question students throughout lecture to determine material comprehension. Periodically appraise students' understanding of the material by assigning specific questions and supplemental reading as necessary. The written progress checks will be given before the block test is administered. Question students throughout lecture to determine material comprehension. nstructors will continuously appraise students' understanding of the material by assigning specific questions and supplemental reading as necessary. Performance Lab: There are 16 student DMLSS terminal stations (one per student) connected to the DMLSS training server. Each student will work individually practicing and producing the required automated products. The instructor will be in the front of the class at the instructor's DMLSS terminal, demonstrating the procedures for producing the automated products, and will answer any procedural questions that may arise. The performance progress check will be accomplished individaully on the last day of class.
