IDA Lab Mission 2
Smart Environments The ultimate goal of the IoT is to create a better world for human beings, where objects around us knowswhat we like, what we want, andwhat we need andact accordiglywithoutexplicit instructions. 3
Goal Design and validate an indoor location/aware architecture able to improve the user experience in a museum through wearable devices, interacting with an IoT/based smart environment, to act as museum guides, providing a real interactive cultural experience. 4

Conclusions and Future Works CONCLUSIONS! We presented an indoor location-aware architecture for smart museums! It was realized to connect the real world inside a museum with the digital world (i.e., the Cloud) composed of myriad of information and social networks! The effectiveness of the whole architecture has been evaluated in the MUST museum in Lecce, Italy.! Apply the system in other scenarios FUTURE WORKS Thank you forsyour attention! 11
