UConn Early College Experience Consent Form 2015-2016 Please read all information herein and obtain all required signatures before you start the online registration process. You will need an electronic copy of this entire form (top to bottom) to submit your online application successfully. DEADLINES Registration: The deadline to apply to the UConn ECE program is June 1, 2015. The deadline to enroll in courses is June 30, 2015. Add/Drop Period: The deadline for new students to apply is September 15, 2015. The deadline for all students to add or drop courses is September 30, 2015. PROGRAM FEES 3 credit course - $125 4 credit course - $160 Office use only Code Approved q A5 q C7 Most courses are three or four credit hours. Please see the attached course list to determine credit hours per course and pricing for one and two-credit courses. The University of Connecticut sends fee bills electronically to the e-mail address the student provides during the application process. Adding and Dropping Courses from August 15, 1015- September 30, 2015 A $25 non-refundable processing fee is charged during the add/drop registration period. UConn Early College Experience Online Registration Process 1 Complete Consent Form Work with your school counselor and choose your courses. Indicate your approved courses on the bottom of your consent form. Fill in your full legal name and high school name, and obtain all required signatures including school counselor, parent or guardian, and your own. Create an electronic copy of your consent form by scanning it or taking a digital photograph. Save this copy for use later in the application process. The electronic copy of your consent form must show the entire form (top to bottom) with all signatures or it will not be accepted. Refer to ece.uconn.edu for help with saving documents electronically. 3 Enrollm June 30, Add/Dro $25 fee: Application Deadline June 1, 2015 2 Late Application with additional $25 fee: September 15, 2015 Apply Online (all students MUST submit a new online application each year) Have an electronic copy of your consent form and your social security number at hand. Go to ece.uconn.edu and click Apply Now. New UConn ECE students: click Create New Account and complet the account set-up information. Save your Compass User Name and password in a secure location. Returning UConn ECE students: check your email. You will receive a reminder email with the Compass User Name you created last year. Enter your Compass User Name and password and click Login. Complete or update all fields in each page of the application. Click Save at the bottom of each page as you go. On the last page upload your completed consent form which you previously saved electronically. Once you have all green check marks click Return to Main Menu and click Submit Application. Note: UConn cannot process your application until you click Submit Ap and agree to the terms of the program. Monitor your email for your application submission confirm NetID information, and approval to enroll.
Activate or Access Your UConn NetID New UConn ECE students: activate your NetID by opening your NetID email and following the instructions provided. If you do not receive your email within 2 days, check your spam/junk email folder or contact the UConn ECE Office. Returning UConn ECE students: locate your UConn NetID and password. To find your NetID or to reset your NetID password visit netid.uconn.edu or call the UITS Helpdesk at (860)486-4357. Dropping Courses To drop a UConn ECE course, you must do so via the Compass Online Enrollment Center by the posted ECE deadline. Login with your NetID and password. Click Compass Student Center at the top of the page. Once approved you will receive an email to enroll in your courses. Click the link in your email or visit ece.uconn.edu to access the UConn ECE Compass Enrollment Center. Enter your activated NetID and password and click Login Select the correct term (Fall 2015 or Spring 2016) and high school location before you Search for your courses. Add all approved Fall and Spring courses to your cart. You must enroll in both Fall AND Spring courses at this time. Continue to the next step to validate all courses. Once validated, select all courses and click Next Step: Enroll. Congratulations!
