The report has been published annually since The Online higher education market continues to advance: n 3.5 million students are studying fully online that s 15% of the total market! n By 2020, it s predicted that 20% of all students will be studying fully online. 3. Competition in the market also continues to rise.
3 Methodology Survey administered to a group of 1,500 respondents. Respondents shared the following attributes: Were 18+ years old Had a minimum of a high school diploma/ged Were currently enrolled in, had recently graduated from, or had firm plans to enroll in an online college degree or certificate program.
