1 Guide for Transfer Students from Bossier Parish Community College to Louisiana State University in Shreveport
2 TRANSFER EQUIVALENCIES The attached table lists all of the courses from Bossier Parish Community College that have equivalent courses at LSUS. Other courses may be accepted, but will not have equivalent course numbers. Transfer students must be aware that there is a limit to the number of hours that may be transferred from a 2-year college to LSUS. No more than ½ of the credits used toward graduation from LSUS may be earned from a 2-year college approximately 60 hours. This transfer guide is intended to augment the LSUS catalog, but does not substitute for the catalog. Course numbers may change and courses may be eliminated. Check with the Office of Admissions and Records for specific information. A student who has been admitted to the University and has obtained fundamental knowledge of a subject offered at the University may demonstrate competence by taking a departmental examination. These examinations allow the student to go on to higher levels of learning. For complete information, see the LSUS catalog under Credits by Examination.
